Just heard on the radio that there is a serious accident involving a motorcycle on Ocean Reef Road, Ocean Reef. :(

Drove past there this morning, as the ambo arrived. The bike was a burgandy coloured Harley (or some cruiser) and the car was a white hatchback, oldish looked like an old Seat.

Rest in Peace.

Just got back from the city (on the bike/s)...a million missed calls from the missus (thinking it may have been me) on my mobile. She was sick with worry, 'cos she couldn't get me to answer the phone. However, someone else's phone won't be answered now.

Sad, sad day. RIP unknown rider....Condolences to family and friends. Been said before............STAY SAFE FOLKS

I hate hearing this stuff..
And on the news, they tell it as if it's 'just another motorcyclist', as if they're not a real person.
Really, really hope that everyone on here is okay....

RIP.

We are hearing sad news like this all too often lately. I guess this is how the World War 2 fighter pilots felt when they kept hearing about the loss of yet another comrade. The difference though is that we are not at war and this just shouldn't be happening. Please take care out there guys - the danger is very real and 'there but for the grace of God go we'.

I ride up and down ocean reef road every day, so i got the calls as well.
i managed to ride past the wreckage, i noticed that the police had highlighted a single tire track, i'm thinking rear wheel lockup.
Sad part is i've had car pull out on me in the exact same spot...i was just lucky enough to stop/go around.

RIP.
