no news, there was a little bit in the paper today saying he was trapped under the cage. But no names yet.

Only good thing is that if we aint heard through the grapevine then hopefully it's no one we know.

Still farkin shit though

In the West's death notices there is a few entries for Grant Dixon saying he was taken suddenly ect. One of the notices has the traditional bike logo on it and another mentions a bit about riding.

I'd guess this is the guy, anyone from here ? or anyone from here know of that name ?

Turns out that a friend of mine's GF shared a house with the guy. He had the funeral on the weekend. Very sad. So young. He was from down South, by the sounds of it...

RIP.

Dam I knew someone from here would have a connection no matter how remote. :(

On a brighter note the world is one vehicle thief/criminal less after he crashed a fire truck in Bindoon. Justice I reckon

Yeah its always sad to hear another fellow biker come to an end. Where he had the accident was not far from my place at all. That is a common site for accidents to occur. My wishes go out to his family and loved ones.

A couple of months back i came across an accident at the same very spot. Cage v's truck. I guess everytime you hear this, it actually makes us realise how dangerous our 2 wheeled babies are.

safe riding everyone..

Bikes are not dangerous, cages and bad riding are. When you ride it is frightening how many inatentive people you see.

Anyway RIP my friend, too young, too soon.

...and when someone DOES come off a bike for whatever reason it's frightening to see how little protection the rider had. Granted, in most cases the rider is probably not at fault - but that's pretty shit consolation when you're dead. Need a bigger sandpit to stick your head in?

And your point is???

The original point was that a 21 year old rider died on a bike.
