Nearly 1 month between GP's! Is anyone else getting a bit toey?

Looks like Honda's next beating at the hands of Rossi will take place in the beautiful Czech Republic. :P

http://www.automotodrombrno.cz/data/foto/AMD/leteckypohled.jpg

Never heard of the Czech Republic before? Then here's some trivia.

The Czech Republic drinks the highest number of beers per capita in the world.
So far this year, the people of this country have drunk a total of: 1,026,255,146 litres of beer. (http://prague.tv/toys/beer/)
That's an average of 187280.14 litres per hour or 52.02 per second, with every man, woman,
and child each having drunk 100 litres.

What a wonderful country. Beer Tours (http://czech-tourism.com/czbeer.htm) & More Info (http://www.radio.cz/en/html/beer1.html)

So, IMHO, I feel we owe it to Brno and ourselves to get down to Cheers at 5pm on Sunday night and drink ourselves stupid. :D

All the newbies are not only welcome, it's compulsory attendance.

P.S. All kudos got to Babeblade/Gordo/Campo as they are the ones who usually organise this.
I'm just posting stuff to avoid doing any work.

I have to admit to being a little toey

Thanks for the mention Dugy but all the rounds at Cheers have been down to Kym... So kudos to Kym for that. :D

As Dugy said, it's a "must" for all you newbies

125's start ~5ish then the 250's, the GP ~8pm all over ~9ish.

They often change depending on where they are racing but this is the _USUAL_ schedule.

Out of interest, on Biaggi's nipplesurfing safari, Do you think it was his fault, or Capirossi's?

im geussing you didnt watch the race :? of course it was biaggi,s fault.if you watch the footage slowwwwwly you will see that biaggi wasnt anywhere near capirossi.he was on the inside picking up the pace until he hit the anchors  that pushed him wide ,well actually he was about to tip it in but started to go straight ahead because he was under brakes.when biaggi clipped his back wheel capirossi was already tipping it in.

well thats my theory anyway :?

oh yeh  did i tell you biaggi is a nob

Dam it! i missed the race, had to work sunday night. :(

Poor biaggi, things never seem to go his way :) He's one of my favourite riders cause he likes to piss everyone off!! :D

I'm taking it that Rossi won.......

How did Troy bayliss go, think he sould chuck in the ducati and get on the Jap bikes.

PrestigeCBR
07-09-2004, 05:20 PM
Biaggi was too busy thinking about his hair or lack of it!
As Leroy said he went in far too hot, he was on the front wheel just about to over shoot the corner when he clipped the back wheel of the Ducati
That's racing

[quote]im geussing you didnt watch the race :

Oh no, I saw the race and I have a carefully veiled opinion that the more astute of you may be able to glean in the poll options. However, on the night there was a varied opinion from a few people watching the race. I wasn't sure if perhaps my distaste for the Kleenex Kid was colouring my viewing of the incident. I feel though with a slight trend emerging in the results, my original opinion holds fast.

Thankyou lads and lasses.

Makoto Tamada delighted the home fans by taking pole position for Sunday's Japanese Grand Prix.

Britain's Neil Hodgson was 17th while compatriots Jeremy McWilliams and Shane Byrne were 20th and 23rd respectively.

even if yamaha win the championship, honda can still hold their head high.

if rossi wins it means it took yamaha to hire a honda rider and a honda engineer to win the championship.

further to my point where are the rest of the yamaha riders???

if the bikes that good why can't they win on it?

whereas a variety of honda riders have won races this year.

i admit at this level of racing it is the rider that makes the difference so really in reality yamaha have nothing to holler except go Rossi.

Without him they would of been nowhere again...

Spot on Chookie, the bike has nothing (little) to do with it, it's the talent of the man (or the size of his balls).

He makes the other riders look ordenary, more so the other Yamaha riders who have been riding the M1 for some time now, and there has never been a better time for Max / Baros or Sete to win a championship.

To be honest it would be great to see any of them win the championship....except Mr. Kiss The Camera and Crash...

Sete or Vale belong at the top...Maxi needs to calm down a bit.

Chooksta, I don't disagree with anything you say here but there is no room for sensible comments in this thread... Calvin, I'm looking in your direction too.

If Rossi does not win this season i'm buying a Honda.

Hows this for a non sensible thread!

Not only will I be riding a Yamaha R1 at Phillip Island if my shoulder heals in time, but further to this madness, I will be wearing a Valentino Rossi AGV GP PRO Moto Gp Replica Helmet as well!

I so hope not to be recognised by anyone

Ok i know rossi is a real talent but i still wonder if he would be as good if jeremy burgess didnt go with him. Being a mechanic i look at the technical side of it and looking at how burgess has changed the Yamaha around hes made it a race bike rather than a lap machine. So go the YAMAHAS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's always a package, Like Doohan,Lowndes,Schumacher,Senna and Rossi, They all have talent but some stand head and sholders above the rest.
How many times has Yamaha one this without Rossi on it ?
How many races has Ferrari one without Shumacher in the driving seat ?

These guys are the absoloute best in their bussiness, Shure technical support is required but if that alone done it then where are the respective team mates ?
