*yes i know i could google, but i prefer to get my advice from internet forums* :)

What is the actual reason your supposed to eat fish today? Or is it just that your not meant to eat red meat?

It is a Catholic/Christian thing and part of Lent. You are supposed to give up red meat as a sacrifice to God/Jesus. Typically, Catholics eat fish every ash Wednesday and every Friday after ash Wednesday to Good Friday.

erm...jack daniels for dinner.

I should have been smarter and gotten some food before I got too pissed to drive. The only other option is cat biscuits, they promise I'll get a shiny coat, and reduced stool odour.
