Seriously. Big Congrats. First win since Alan Jones in 81 in Las Vegas. And to win with a drive-through penalty as well. Massive congratulations.

Thank you's must also be made to Felipe' Massa, Heikki Kovalainen, and the Brawn GP fuel rig for their instrumental roles in the race.

Very proud Aussie right here. Having that Aussie flag and anthem played on the podium was amazing

fark yeah! He's worked bloody hard for it. I was just commenting that it's amazing how reliable he's become now that he isn't getting stuck mid-pack.

I heard he was on pole, but housemate had family over, so sitting in the lounge shouting at the T would have been rude. I might need to track down a copy from somewhere.

Aussie Aussie Aussie - Oi - Oi - Oi!

Barfy I download the actual ITV broadcast of qualifying/racing after each race.

If you'd like a copy let me know and I'll burn it for you. Qualifying was great to watch too.

Great to see him getting results and awesome to see him win.

Hearing him on the team radio when he crossed the line really showed how much it meant for him to finally pull it all together.

3rd in the drivers championship now, only a few points off 2nd. Hopefully he can put a few mre wins on the board.

Yeah, he's always so reserved and polite when something goes wrong and fucks it up for him, but that really made it clear how much it meant to him.

Big congrats to him :)

Oh, fkn harden up.

1st Aussie win in F1 since 1981. Good to see.
Not to mention overcoming a drive-through penalty, as well. Awesome stuff.

Awesome news! Lives up to his name, slowly cooked but with a delicious result (and unlike our Christmas party last year the roasts aren't burnt to a cinder), massive thumbs up :)

I watched this race last night, it was fantastic to see an Aussie on the top step of the podium. On ya Webber, hopefully this is the start of a trend, seeing as he seems to be in a car which will last more then 1 lap now.

Yay! He always seems to have sh1t luck - cars breaking down, getting punted off in the first corner and so on. Even as far back as when the Mercedes CLK GTR flipped over backwards before he was in F1. It's good to see things go his way for once!
