Haha, awesome.
Wonder if when he pushes against the CD while they are spinning he would feel the gyroscopic effect resisting the push..
Could he not measure that force then?

The wonders of angular momentum. It is measurable.

Our physics lecturer showed us a demo of angular momentum using a bicycle rim with the tire full of sand. Tie a length of string to one end of the axle, get the wheel spinning in a vertical position, then hold the string. The wheel stays vertical while suspended from only one end of the axle. Works with a normal bike wheel too, but more weight further from the axle is better.
