    Cliff

My names Rick, I go by XJMoth on this forum and the XJBikes rebuilding an XJ750P to original. I finally got around to strippingh done the old girl and the wiring harness is a birds nest. Someone has taken to it with wire cutters and put in a pile of fuse holders under the seat, problem is they appear to be big enough for a truck and so is the wire. I was impressed with your posts of the wiring harness re-build. Two things, did you inquire with Len at XJForever about a replacement harness, if so is he able to source them. I am thinking about re-building my harness but to get a fresh XJ750 harness and then add the extra wriing would be much easier. Also you referred to the waterproof connectors not being your first choice. Can you advise what would be your first choice and also what you ended up using.

I have been talking a bit to Richard through normal email. Do you have one or prefer contact through the PMs.

    cheers

    Rick

    HI Cliff,

Sorry missed your call. Have sent you a MMS of one of the chairs so you can see what they're like. All three the same and in good nick.
I'm in all weekend doing some work on the bike so any time is fine by me although might go for a ride on SUnday depending on weather. Saturday may be best. Give me a ring before coming up.

    Cheers

    Colin.

    Hi Cliff,
I have an old police special XJ750 motor that I was going to give to Richard, you can have it if you want: I assume the alternator is OK in it, but don't know for sure.

    Cheers,
    Brendan
