Thread revival - I'm looking for this as well if anybody knows of local distributors. Info available here.

    Edit: Australian distributor

Western Airmotive at Jandakot will have it.

So too will Aviall as well (Jandakot depot). They only do credit card transactions though, no cash sale.

If you want a corrosion inhibitor that stays fluid, use the ACF-50. If you want something that sticks, maybe consider using LPS-3 or LPS Procyon instead.

I've never been able to pick the smell. Salted caramel perhaps?

Thanks flyboy, will check it out. I probably need both. I'd like ACF-50 for inside the various electrical connections on my bike, LPS-3 sounds like it might be the go for things like my forks?

I used Inox, I only needed it to prevent cast alloy corrosion on a resto , the Inxo did the trick, similar to ACF-50 it stays liquid

I was told by an old cockie that he used Inox on e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g alloy for years but said you must get the Lanox HD MX4 Lanolin (he referred to it as the "mutton fat one") to clean up alloy corrosion, the MX3 is just for lubricating and doesn't stick / penetrate as well...

Yeah he is a bit of a guru on the UK BB sites when it comes to the Birds in particular (but also bikes in general) and does a lot to help out fellow riders I was going to get a Scottoiler from him and he was willing to repackage it minus to oil and extra packing to reduce the freight cost to Oz
