What's the point of the sv650x?

Suzuki wants $10,600 instead of $9000 for a regular sv650. What do you get for $1600 extra?
    1. A headlight cowl
    2. A seat cover
    3. Fork preload adjusters
Stuff like this nails the coffin shut for the cafe racer trend IMO.

    This would be more appealing.

I wonder how many rocks an oil filter can handle before being punctured?

I would only do that sort of speed on the track.

Never punctured the oil filter yet...will try harder for you in future TurboR1

on the other hand $8990 ride away for that sweet little v2 in non LAMS config is pretty good bang for buck

i had the same worry about the oil filter when i had the 650 vstrom, i opted for the lower shroud option just in case, but i dont think it was ever an issue, every one has the same comment but theres not a lot of information out there about filters actually gettting damaged to the point they lose oil, the exhaust shields it somewhat from lower hits

    edit----
or is it the LAMS version? if so then yeh nah

Why is it Suzuki have this habit of making fucking ugly bikes? Even modifying them to be hideous from versions that were OK to begin with

Designers don't even bother with the mufflers these days as they know the majority of people swap them out for aftermarket pipes. Meet emission standards and make it out of cheap materials...fair enough really.
