Got the forks new quite a few years ago now. Were on special. No one else wanted them

BST's on both my Ducatis. Got the first set 2009 or 10. Those things are the biggest single performance changer. If your bike is a keeper they are a great addition.

Hillz is right. The blingiest bits are the Sicom rotors. Great feel, hot cold wet or dry. TBH, they are expensive bling. The originals were fine.

Ran it on the track a bit to make sure it performed well. Noticeably better than the already great 1098R. Track body is on the other one now.

That's one of my other ones. Funny you should mention, it had a little dribble in Bridgetown Sat morning.

the 1098 on the side fairings are the carbon fibre the fairings are made of.

i'd like to thank BlackFZR for making the blanks so i could mask them out

Yeah, missed a big thank you to Tim. Decals were perfect. Nicely masked out the 1098 on the CF side fairings for good effect. Some Straightline clear coat (or 10?) for a great result.

The idea was to remove the white race plates for an overall black red scheme. The black not paint but the underlying CF. Original R tank and side decals are white which didn't work, hence the gold to match the original pinstripes and logos on the nose fairing and tail.

Has other bling. Pierobon, RAM mag swingarm, kevlar ETI 21L endurance fuel cel and even a stock fender.

Bought both sets direct from SudAfrika but they now have an Australian distributor.

    http://www.red-mist.com.au/

Red-Mist helped me out by getting my second set to me at no additional cost when mine were held up by the SA postal strike. At the time I had paid BST direct. BST couldn't get my order through the strikes for a couple of months and they called for help from Red-Mist.

Those wheels are strong, I've used them on rutted bush tracks, the works.
