Shit, sorry to hear it mate. Rest up and you'll be back in no time, at least you came off without any serious injury.

Sounds like you're alright. Hope the bike is a write-off so you can buy a new one instead of waiting for repairs.

precautionary because when I came off I slid down the road into a yellow traffic pole and corked my leg/hip so they wanted to check that nothing was broken.

Thanks I kinda want it written off but at the same time hope it's just cosmetic so I can back out there again asap.

I would feel the same in that situation, hoping for a write off so you don't have to deal with the drama of repairs and at least your insurance excess/premium goes to good use if the whole bike gets replaced.

Glad to hear you're ok! Sounds scary.

Just saw this mate, glad you're ok, wish you a speedy recovery.
Best I can do to describe the issue is this.
Normally it goes BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, shift, BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

But now it's a bit more like this
    BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-R-R-r-r-r-r-r-, shift
