Currently getting lessons to get my bike licence and going through Elite (Peter - Joondalup) he is fantastic and the 2 hour lesson format works wonders (especially when like me you can only get time for one lesson a fortnight).

Anyone looking to get their licence in the joondalup area, I would highly recommend Peter.

Just had my first lesson today with Tai at Elite (Belmont) and it was great. He's a really nice guy, very professional and patient. By the end of my lesson (45 mins) we were out on the road. I highly recommend them ^_^

Grunts is a great place to learn, Grant has the patience of a saint.

Looking for recommendations for an instructor for the other half near the Gallerea that works Sat or Sun that has a 250 suitable for someone 5ft ( and thats probably being optimistic ).

Also needs to be very good at building confidence. She failed the first test quite a few years ago only due to going to pieces when the test came. Was actually riding pretty well but the instructor managed to unsettle her before the test started (I'm sure a couple more lessons would have helped to but I'm not brave enough to point that out to her). If she fails again this time I'm sure she will give up on the idea altogether so really want to make sure she gets someone good.

I think she might be better with a female instructor but don't see anyone obvious in the list. Either way plan to get 1/2 dozen options and let her decide which one.

We do have a VL250 that she can do extra riding on but would prefer to use an instructors bike for lessons.

I no longer have the GN I have a Kymco CK125 which has a cut out seat available in Cannington.

These guys still use a GN from memory.

His GN250 is very easy to ride, he's a pretty easy going instructor and $90 for 1.5 hour lesson is pretty good value.
