Well it's either a successful sporting star or death in custody...

They kind of bookend the spectrum with the white guys filling in the middle... like a giant racial Oreo Cookie.

Splint finally off the finger - hopefully next week I can get back to fencing right-handed. Fencing left-handed is awkward and surprisingly painful

Also, a quick visit to the bank to get a loan interest statement ended up with a full review and some loan discounts and various account fees dropped - the lady remembered me from when it was Town and Country bank.... sheesh

About 3 weeks ago actually, was a remand prisoner in Hakea but you wont of heard of it because he was white, now IF he'd been Indigenous it would be all over the news
People die in custody all the time whether it's in Police cells or prisons but 9/10 times you'll never hear of it, even less so if it's not suspicious

Careful... SJW rage will intensify if fact discredits their view point.

Scored a day off on Friday. That in itself would be worthy of a GTIL - I'm a teacher - but I also got to spend it on the beautiful grounds of Peel House Manor. The weather was perfect, I was wearing a new dress and, just as the sun was setting, two of my friends got hitched. I was the MC for the reception, first time doing that, and I didn't fuck it up! Then I danced the night away, before collapsing into our large well appointed fully-paid suite, and then I sat down to a breakfast buffet and many hilarious retellings of the previous night's shenanigans. Then I slept for a day, and woke up to another gorgeous day off.
I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it. Well maybe not to the death, I have this thing on Wednesday. But I'll give an accurate description of your assailant to the police. Over the phone. I'm not leaving a name.

    ^^^ That IS indeed a GTIL!!!^^^

It is also one of the most open and enriching posts I have had the pleasure of reading on here, to this point.

Now it's time for a ride.....back in time for the AGP

GTIL - The weather has been great the last few days and managed to get the Bird out quite a bit even if it's just the ride to and from work
It's a nice 45mins of reasonably flowing roads and some country backroads thrown in

GTIL: Riding last night with a good group of mates/cunts. Shenanigans, laughs, good spirits, and mateship. If that isn't the joys of motorcycling rolled into one I don't know what is
    Rest in Peace

The Australian War Memorial visit I just completed.

Went to Canberra for a few days [ more than a bit meh ] but the Memorial is outstanding, beautifully laid out, a real pleasure to walk around pay your respects, and if you're interested in the mechanical side of things, they have a brilliant selection of machines of all types from WW1 onwards. Be it British/American/Japanese/German/Australian and others, you can see a Jap Zero fighter/minisub, Lancaster bomber, Tanks/bikes/trucks/planes/artillery from all over, it just goes on and on and on. A decent visit would take all day, maybe 2.

The short service held each evening is quite moving, wreaths laid, an individual story of a soldier is told, last post and so on. Bit of dust in the air.

I thought the War Museum in London was excellent, but our version is better again. Do yourself a favour......

The ANZAC memorial at Albany is also definitely worth a visit.

Just had a really nice weekend spent with friends that still has me smiling and feeling warm fuzzies. A good weekend makes you feel OK about tomorrow being Monday. Then 1 more week of work and I'm off over east for my first holiday since forever
