So very close! The part arrived and was an absolute pain to install. Working out how to adjust the inboard power valves at the moment - what a pig of a place to get to!! Then it's fuel and start. Any day now mate, promise.

When is the maiden voyage ? You should make an event for all Aprilia owners to get together and gasbag over coffee

Little way to go before the maiden voyage - it'll be after the show anyhow, wouldn't want to bin it beforehand

Besides, I have fun things like this to do first:

    [IMG][/IMG]

Which is keeping me busy today. Trying to work out the best way to install it without f*cking with the loom too much. Think I'll have it back running again before the footy this afternoon though

To be fair I actually already had the Zeel when you came to borrow the hand controller I've only just got around to installing it as I always planned to get the bike running on standard electronics first, before stuffing around with the wiring. That way I can rule out existing wiring if I've interpreted Borut's wiring diagram incorrectly...

Now how would I go about posting a video anyhow?

    Zeeltronic installed.

Step 1 - Have bike run on standard loom and CDIs.
Step 2 - Have bike run on Zeeltronic CDI.
Step 3 - Have bike run on Zeeltronic CDI with Zeeltronic sidestand/neutral kill switch and ancillaries (quickshifter and map switch) installed.

Great success! Bike starts first or second kick at all times

The exhaust is off again in order to have the EGT bungs welded in. Once they're back it's on to final assembly and detailing, prior to being displayed at the Perth Motorcycle and Scooter show on the PSB stand.

It operates the kill switch input (Black/White wire) to the Zeeltronic from the Neutral and Side Stand. Side stand down and bike in gear = no start. Guess the Zeeltronic is primarily designed for race use, so does away with the road legal requirements.
