Nah mate, the gubmint sorted that out and it doesn't happen anymore.

We need to cut these guys taxes more so they increase wages instead of going down the tube.

Oh wait, most of the subbies became subbies to cut their tax and earn more and are not on wages.

The bloodletting is just starting IMHO.

Happens all the time. Not only are they not paying contractors but they are undercutting solvent companies to win the work.

Nothing is done about it because the smart ones still pay their tax. If there is no money in it for the government they don't prosecute.

They can still pay no tax and they don't do anything

wa police = biggest load of bullshit artists, we all see your bullshit saying a chase was aborted 2 seconds before they slam into a tree

no one cares, one less bike thief but this aborted BS has to stop. take responsibility for your actions some would say, 2 minutes earlier me & family could have be caught up in your "aborted" chase

If crashes only happen after the chase is aborted why are they aborting chases? It seems the chase is the safe part?

The old man telling my sister she can buy her own HOUSE by herself in the city on 36K before tax a year, she can't even get a start with no deposit home packages.

I tell her to use the little money she has saved to get a better paying skilled job = no listening

Statistically it would seem that this is the case.

Ive had to shut off the water because the landscaping company decided leaking reticulation was fine, and after a visit by me at their office, thought fixing the leak and creating a bigger leak was the acceptable solution.

Now I have to wake up early tomorrow to park myself in their office until they fix it since having running water is something I'd like.

When I read the above post in the imagined voice of Prefectionst's current avatar, it sounds even more urgent.

When it comes to everything to do with my house, my avatar is basically how I am. Builders are fucking morons.

After much digging I found a tap that controls my retic, but it's jammed open. To scared to try the retic again until this is working. Not fun shutting down the water supply to the whole house due to jammed on solonoid.

These can be easy enough to fix/replace with replacements from bunnings. I just took a photo of the top of it so I know what to buy and didn't have to shut the water off to take the whole thing in. The seals in mine which look the same as that had gone hard and were easy enough to scavenge bits for, or replace the whole thing without taking out the base in between the piping.

Thanks Geeman, PSB gave me advice to soak in WD40 and this thread made me go out and try again. The tap works now. Many sprinkler heads need maintenance but all stations operate. Just Station three runs continuously in sync with the other five stations on test mode. So next step is to find which solonoid operates it.

Yeah I had similiar problems. 1 out of 6 stations stuck open and backfeeding so had bugger all pressure to anything. The solenoids have a little on off switch on the side so you can isolate them one at a time.
One thing I have been doing gradually is replacing every pop up with steel or plastic flush heads, because I got so sick of constantly replacing the pop ups.
