Ummm..I've just been looking at some Luenig Cartoons.

I think we have just been had.. by the almost entire Parliament.. ('cept for a couple who genuinely quit due to bullying and innuendo...)

Turnbull fucks off on a 6 week holiday..Abbott gets his guernsey back..BJ umm Barnaby gets a gig to help out the drought struck Farmers..Dutton gets to keep his "child care centres"

Morrison is on the private plane to PNG...Bishop takes knights 4...Phark who have I missed..???

Local MP gets a gig in Cannedberra ..umm Michelle Price ( sent me a cert for my 60th ,last week..noice )

Political change at the hand of conspirators...who are so backslapped they need a holiday at the TaxPayers expense

We fell for it hook line and sinker...hindsight=20/20

    Kharntz.

The level of retardation that exists in this nation when it comes to shopping instore, vs shopping local online (local as in still Australia), vs shopping international online, is staggering.

While browsing for bits and pieces for the ZX7R, I stumbled across some fancy seat covers/replacement. Don't need them or will buy them, but I found them while searching other things.

Now I've not seen these in the shops anywhere so if one was inclined/needed to purchase one, you go online. To get it "local" is $407AUD delivered from Sydney. Now this seems a touch steep, for what is just a cover. And not a cover made from something exotic such as, suede, emu leather or even stingray/shark leather. It's just a vinyl cover.

You could probably pick up a complete replacement seat for that.

It gets worse, they can include the pillion seat for an additional $286AUD. Hmm... a seat recovering exercise at just shy of $700 in materials alone.

The identical product can be found in the same search list available delivered from Canada for... get this... $160AUD delivered.

Are the people of Sydney retarded? do they think that the rest of the nation is (more) retarded? Are they taking the piss? Do they not understand how the internet works? Do they think the import duty is 400%? Or is their profit margin 400%? Is it the Australian way to fuck your fellow countrymen for every $ you can?

I think the answer to all of these is "Yes"

Oh and if you were to buy it, it would probably still turn up quicker from Canada eh?

Ok So you bought it from OS from the States , in fact. Freight is $50...It's on USPS. I can track that shit every 8-12 hrs. The tracking is in real time/factual/accurate.

In the time it takes Aus Post to lose/find/misplace/lose/find/lie that they even have it/get you to check the tracking 'cause they aren't allowed too/lose it again at the local PO ( 3 days later deliver it )

put a note in the letter box to tell me they left it behind the green bin ..( he tried to force it into the box....three days in a row he dropped shit off to me..and still can't make eye contact...cunt!

USPS travels from CA to NY to Hawaii to Sydney... to Perth to Kta..all air freight...and Aus Post at last has no choice but to deliver it to my front door..and I sign for it. 10 days..( aus post from Sydney 10-12)

BTW it cost less than 1/2 in AUD.

I agree emphatically with all the above....FWIW

    Yep all of the above.

Last two items I bought online in the last couple of weeks. New door switch panel for my 80, over 2 weeks from Sydney. Ordered a book from the USA, Washington to my door in 3 days without even paying for express freight!!

    Earlier this month...

Cross-drilled titanium caliper bolts for the ZX7R delivered in under a week and 1/2 price direct from the UK. As opposed to Pro-bolt over east.

Pretty irrelevant on a ZX7R, only went titanium as I could get them cheaper than cross drilled stainless items.

Changing out 4 bolts on a ZX7R as a weight reduction is a bit like a fat chick not wearing mascara for the same reason.

So i generally don't have a hate hard on for members of the police force, but having just pulled into a servo to refuel behind a fjr mounted officer, i notice fuel absolutely pissing out of his bike. I jump out of the car, grab the water jug and head for the exhaust/engine as i tell the officer politely "whoa mate, you have fuel running out everywhere, stand back while i dilute it off the back of the engine!". Now, old mate turns to me and says aggressively "no, its fine, i know what i'm doing!".
Ok, jug down, and fill the car up. He then mutters its the overflow (while whacking another few litres into the full tank and onto the floor) then walks in to pay. He starts suiting up as i go to pay and is still standing there after i return some time later coz the dude in front of me wants a fkn servo coffee. Before i even get to the car he is standing at the drivers door telling me my car is illegal coz i have a light bar on my roof. I explain it is in fact fine, mounted behind windscreen line and doesnt shine light onto bonnet of car due to its low mount point.
    Nup, illegal.
Eer no sir the rules changed 6 months ago, i offer to look up the code. He says no way, he would know if they did. Luckily something else caught his attention as he quickly jumps on the bike and takes off, and lucky his fixation on my roof mounted illumination device detracts him enough that he didn't see the rollcage and harnesses.
But gee, why be a dick when someone just offers some help?

Edit: may actually be a good things in life story. Too hard to call...

Yeah it seems a bit sensationalist, but hey, that's what sells these days.

I also agree that there is no such thing as a dangerous road. Just a person's interaction with it that is either within or outside the ability or capacity of man and machine.

Once you exceed either, you're going to have a bad day.
