    There is a bloke in Roleystone, David Walker, that makes high end knives, "Knives by Walker". I've seen his knives which are exceptional, know a bloke that has a few. He might give you suggestions as he's using high grade steel and damascus. If you interested pm and I'll pm his mob. I don't know him personally.

    I've got some stuff from various knife nuts in the US. slabs of layed toxic green and black G10 for eg. Not too expensive. When I get off my arse I want to make some handle scales for things like Griptillians and the like that I have.

    Acquired my first hand-forged custom knife from a young local guy. Tis a thing of beauty that will do the daily food-prep duties. It's actually robust enough at the spine to be a "survival" style knife - but far too pretty and sharp for that

    The knife sharpening bloke at the local farmers market was a bit excited about this knife. Its pretty nice.
