    is it just me..?

all that needs to be done to make the "track" safer/more safe/as safe as possible/a safer track.

Improve the 'run off areas' remove the "track debris" whether it was put there .in a 'wellmeaning way" or not matters little.

grab a heap of "motorcycle specific" -- " retardant aids" and spill that shit on the most obvious point of "parke ferme" that is required to prevent " rider/s from accelerating when they leave the race track ",

Add a couple more Flag Marshall areas with shade and fixed camera's to save/collect data and footage for insurance purposes.

Look to history of "race incidents" that have ended in 'serious injury' as well as 'death'

use this as a base to identify the real solutions.....and give all concerned a few moments to collect themselves.

Or at least add their 2c worth..

Then get a fukkin move on and implement the required changes..(-:

I dunno, makes sense to me IF that is the way DSR worded it then you could say that MC's will never be back as it can never be "totally safe"
A bit like the diatribe from govts about zero deaths on roads, it's not something that is attainable without taking all vehicles off the road
IF that is the way it was written then I can see it from the POV of the WASCC, it can never be made totally safe so the easy way out is just stop all MC use

At least it was by the people who claim to be raising the standard of political debate.

Still, it is more impressive being a smarmy prick if you have actually achieved something.

All I am seeing is people losing jobs and more straight roads being promised.

Do these fuckers realise there are quite a few votes in it?

Colin Barnett had 8 years to START building it and has failed. That should be justification enough to vote the old fossil out.

If any major party is going to put money towards motorcycle racing, it sure isn't the Liberals..

Is out the back Neerabup regional? I bet if tried to get the NBN on it would be.

Hmm, there is money around it appears if you ask properly for it.
Even $200k might make some changes.

there is plenty money around, regardless of who wins.
the departments all have money locked away, as a contingency in case the April budget cycle is disruptive. In one case this exceeds a quarter billion.

As I said before, from someone who opens government wallets nearly daily, alleviating them of money is not done by jumping up and down moaning that there is no motorcycle track to play on and gathering facebook likes.

I'm sure that more than that is required, performing fellatio would be prime example of one way as would analingus...
Of course the use of deception, charm and a sensible plan could work too.
The only thing wrong with a perfect ride to work is that you end up at work.

Per GT's comment - sucking cock works down in the weeds, it loses value quite dramatically with decision makers.

i could discuss in quite some depth some of the factors at play in this topic. this would present a number of issues however.

Personally though, I'd adhere to a number of core principles at departmental or ministerial level messaging, among which are:
    - don't have your hand out to fix a problem (this is your problem, not their's).
    - define and articulate a public need and benefit and find a way to make it appealing to multiple departments.
    - go beyond just explaining the opportunities your proposal presents, prove them.
    - be patient.
    - above all be respectful

If said horde can't do these things, and stay on message, every minute of every day, find someone who can, and the rest need to shut the fuck up.
As i understand it, the horde have done the exact opposite of every one of my core principles and as goes the saying, i'll take the pepsi challenge any day.

More tangibly - In a tight budgetary climate, don't make the challenge finding new money, that's a hiding to nothing. Rather the challenge is in making the implementation of your proposal more attractive than something else which already has those committed funds. Or putting it another way, sell the proposal, not the cost.

Well to be fair, its more DSRs poor choice of words than anything we actually wanted...

Wanting and fighting for safety improvements are ultimately a good things, they way the DSR/MA/WASCC have gone about it has left a bitter taste. I dislike politics

...Can't see the forest...for the trees..

Fuk with your brand of politics..

Who said anything about a precedent..????

Cunts have NO MONEY to spend on critical improvements... so stall the process...

Blindside the interested parties with ' will never be safe '

It's an accord we are chasing , not a bankroll...

    fucktards farcebuk egotards.

    Stop....right there.

This is an easy fix.......why can't anyone see it..???

Threats... "never gonna race bikes ever again..."

Manipulation...." we are gonna lose MX and stuff ... and ...OH wai.."

    It's a race track not a pre-school playground......big kids play here......

disclaimer... nah... comp insurance ...fuk yeh!

Money to be made....not lives to be lost..... wtf? where is the focus shift required-- in what was a great state to live...and play...

sit the fuk down and don't talk bullshit. it's as easy as 1 2 3........

if all else fails make it ( Le Tracke..) a sanctuary.

    Protected by it's own laws.
