Best I can do to describe the issue is this.
Normally it goes BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, shift, BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

But now it's a bit more like this
    BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-R-R-r-r-r-r-r-, shift

The extra $45k at Fraser's is for the optional 12 month warranty.

I just couldn't see myself shelling out that much, when they don't really hold their value.

Most Ducati's do hold there value far better than other brands but you need to know your bike and market.

Take the SL, we had a few clients purchase them and flip them within 6 months and made a profit, others bought a year later and have saved 25k. Hold onto them and you can either swap with other collectors looking to consolidate collections or sell for what you purchased to make way for another bike.

This model is a no brainer, if you want a Panigale this is the one you want at half the price of the SL but the same exculsitivity as the SL.

Basicly to buy a collectable Duke first thing is it must have a Plaque on the Tripple tree and be a numbered bike.

You can get a numbered bike for as little as 12-14k and will be on the up if they are preserved and cared for and you can't loose at that end.

All these years later and the 916 still looks the best - 'cept for the wheels of course. The Anniversario has the better wheels...

I can remember when I first saw the 916 I wondered how any bike could ever look better than that. I'm still wondering!

so for an extra 10k you get gold wheels, Akrapovic exhaust, upgrade ecu and R steering rank kit ($250)....

lol, funny enough it looks like it is using a stock base model steering damper rather than the ohlins damper hahaha!
