So I decided to get R&G case sliders, and i got the aero oggy knobbs. Small price to pay for SOME crash protection (at least on the slower mishaps).

Also ordered some HELPerformance braided lines. Went with the transparent ones, as i thought there was something that needed highlighting in the rear end, and the front. Most of it all is now either black, or blue, with the exception of the rearsets.

Now that i've had a chance to also ride the bike a little more, i have noticed that my right foot gets abit fatigued with the height of the foot pegs. I haven't had a chance to install my aftermarket footpegs which i believe MAY help this, as they don't have a lip on the edges like the stockies. After that if they aren't comfortable i might end up getting some SATO rearsets. Any1 used these before?

Brrrrr i wasnt figuring on this cold shite you guys call winter lol.
Just got off night shift so tonight could be ambitious but dont normally worry about rain, just so much gear to put on to stay dry & warm. I might head out for a hills ride over the weekend.

Thanks dude! It still feels a bit like a dream actually owning the bike (been drooling over it, since it was released, and pretty much was the reason for me to get my bike license, that and cutting my trip to work and back home shorter). I suppose once i start riding it a bit more it'll be better

Gonna pop in to Cleanride and have a chat to RRossi re: glass coating it. Definitely something i'm thinking of doing, just need to work out the details and organise it.

Finally got the parts for the footpegs as well and got those mounted, got a mate who can powder coat my rearsets, so pending whether the new pegs help, depends on the powder coating!

Ahh good stuff. I took a bloke from work for his R Class on his 2015 gsxr 1000, he walked in pissing confidence, sometimes i think they just take joy out of knocking those people down a peg or 2.
He passed the next time, straight after copping an $800 fine on the way to the test. Luvky i just let him zoom off in the distance else they would have decided we were drag racing or something. Think that knocked some sense into him.

Keep getting false neutrals as i'm travelling at high way speeds (100kph) on the new bike... First time it happened i was caught by surprise, now it's just fkn annoying.

Kinda sounds like the gear is just spinning and it's trying to engage but just doesn't go in.

This is with clutch or clutchless shifting. :-/

Any idea on what could be happening here?

I had the same problem with a bandit 1200 I had from new in 05. Never went away and was annoying as fuck. You can try an oil change but I don't think it will solve the problem

Suzuki quite often throw in a few spare neutrals.

Real value for money and more bang for your buck 🖒
Do you remember the good old days before the internet?

when arguments were only entered into by the physically or intellectually able.

Got the bike back from CleanRide, i thought it looked good initially but DAYUM she is eye-popping now. When i get a chance i'll put up some pics.

Chain adjustment seems to have fixed the false neutrals?

So, as i've been riding this more and more, i've noticed what most GSX-S1000 owners have noticed. This bike is absolutely annoying under 5000rpm. From what i can see it's either TPS, or ecu.

Most people have fixed the issue by either reflashing or running a PCV. So my question is anyone recommend any places that could does good exhaust work for bikes? Would like to keep the SET valve but get rid of everything else so that it's still reasonably quiet below 7krpm, and then i'll get it reflashed with exhaust work and air filter work done.

I'll get the bike reflashed at ECUWest since they do a specific tune for the GSX-S1000.
