Most todays litre bikes are geared really high and need to go -1 on the front.

    Cant vouch for ecuwest

I've done ecu changes to the ecu through flashtune but the fueling side is still done on the PCV, that way its quicker and cheaper to modify.

So, few things have happened since my last post.

    Exhaust got done.

It's going down to ecuwest for a dyno tune on tuesday. I'll probably end up getting a flashtune box as well, and will probably get someone else to tune it later if it needs it (probably some one like corse).

I've had a chat to Russel @ Dynotime and he's got me details on springs and valves to put on her for my weight, and that should be getting done some time next month.

Last item i'm really waiting on is rearsets for her. Bonamici have some for the GSX-S1000 but seems like they sent the wrong ones unfortunately.

Well the bike is back from the dyno. MUCH smoother to ride now that it's tuned. Constantly throttle/snatchy throttle issues are all but gone. With the exhaust done and the weight savings it's also more flickable... if that's a word!

Dynosheet for those that are interested:

Haven't really update this much but quite a few new parts are on their way!

Bonamici rearsets have been near on impossible to find stock of, so i ordered some SATO rearsets.

Also ordered a Saddlemen GP-V1 seat with matching pillion cover so ass comfort should be sorted now.

Had a chat with Russel Dynotime a few months ago about suspension, and he put together a package with Racetech valves and springs. Hopefully getting that sorted towards the later part of this month (pending Russel's schedule of course).

Got a HID kit from DDMtuning, plus LED bulbs from there as well, as i'm reasonably happy with the stock indicators, just want less energy drain.

And with that pretty much finishes my purchasing of parts for the bike, not sure if i really want anything else for it.

Also, finally, ordered some decent riding gear from Sharkleathers for myself.

Looks great. I am thinking about a matte black carbon front fender to improve the look a bit. I realise its part of Suzuki styling to make fenders 3 times bigger than they need to be, but I'd prefer it to be smaller and black like some other supernakeds (Tuono).

Problem is that its not a quick swap, you have to drill the rivets and drop the front wheel out which I don't know I can be bothered doing.

Not really interested in getting any carbon on it. The blue just pops so i don't really wanna hide that!

Although i did think about it, and SERIOUSLY consider it, but nah i just like the blue too much

Sorry for the broken links fellas. I've moved my photo storage from photobucket to elsewhere as i'm sick of their crap. So when i get a chance i'll fix the broken links. In the meantime, here's some photos with all the crash protection installed and just after a wash!

Got the pillion seat cover attached. I'm a happy chappy now with the seat being sorted.

Really nice seat too. A lot firmer than the stock seat, but due to have the gel inserts, the bumps are all absorbed. Still get a little bit of discomfort after long riding, but a quick stand up on pegs and readjust seems to remove all of that

    Rearsets have been shipped.

Russ @ dynotime advised me that he'd need the bike for a week to get the racetech suspension sorted. Unfortunately not really do-able as i use the bike everyday. Decided to go Matris Cartridges and Wilbers rear shock.

Once all that's done, i'll probably look at getting some better tyres than the Dunlops on here.

Russ @ Dynotime worked his magic.

Holy hell has it made one heck of a difference to the bike. My fat ass must of been bottoming out the stock suspension or something.

I'm still dialing it in totally, but so far, it's a BIG improvement.

Corner stability has improved immensely. It was tipping in nice and quick before, but kinda waivering. Now it's in a touch slower, but it's far more controlled, it's doing exactly what i'm telling it to.

Bumps are being absorbed, but there is something weird going on with the front. It's fairly bouncy when there is consistent bumps in the road.

REALLY impressed by the change, and actually impressed at just how quickly it was done as well!

More throttle should easily keep the front wheel in the air and solve this issue

    This bike ^^

    Special
Just do it. Seriously, if you look up the standing rules of PSB it goes something like this.

    1. Dont be a dick
    2. Desmo is allowed to be a dick (sometimes)
    3. Buy the one with the most Duke
    4. Dont ask about fixing the search function.
    etc etc..
