    HELP!!

Hey just looking for some help if anyone could help me out, I am trying to change my clutch lever and the pivot bolt is not wanting to come undodne, by that I mean the actual nut is spinning and it's not wanting to tighten or loosen up (the bolt itself is not spinning), if anyone has any ideas of how I can get that sucker out so that I can put a new one in plus the new clutch lever, I've attached some pictures if I'm not making any sense, the bike is a 2015 er6n, any help is greatly appreciated, or if anybody is in the Bayswater area that would like to come have a look that would be also appropriated.

    Cheers Sean.

Nut looks rounded, sure the socket isn't just spinning on the nut?

Try some lockjaw pliers on the nut, if you can get an open ender in there, give that a shot first.

Also: your pics are below sir.

Thanks for that mate, yea the socket is the right size, tired a open ender and the lock jaw pliers and it's doing the same just spinning.

    Cheers S

If you can get a small flat blade screwdriver under the nut and lever it down whilst you turn in, the thread may re-grip. It sounds like the nut has damaged threads and you will probably need to cut it/the bolt off.

Failing the screwdriver solution a pair of good quality...not Chinese....vice grips vertically affixed to the nut and a downwards pressure applied while undoing using the bolt head to turn it
