    Ducati 1299 Superleggera

215hp with carbon fibre frame, swingarm, wheels, subframe, etc. The things that aren't carbon are either titanium... or the tyres.

    500 to be made.

Has Ducati changed to Akro for OEM exhausts now? They have done Termi forever.

I think they introduced Akra for the 1199 Panigale R, and kept it as an option for the rest of the Panigale range. Termi is still the main supplier for the rest of the model line up in the Corse catalogue.

How did that carbon frame go in their GP bikes?

    Wank factor ten, Mr Sulu.
The greatest excitement comes from besting who you were yesterday.

Obviously MotoGP riders are nowhere near as good as cashed up Ducati fanboys.

Aluminium cylinder liners. Should ensure these are used sparingly.

I think it will be more if you factor in any sea freight, duties, mark up and possibly road freight around Oz. Thank you can add taxes and duties.

Yeah, I Like my trellis frame 1098R. The newer configurations have never turned me on.

Re exhausts, My 08 was termi standard, the '09 1098R came with Akra as standard.

So are you saying I should test ride your 1098R before I test ride the SLG ? Thanks mate, you're awfully generous

well since its usually everything else that packs up in between cafes they thought it would only be clever to add an extra weak point so ensure maximum latte sipping while waiting for a tow truck.

Get it right! That's no mere tow truck, it's Ducati Assist.
