How boring would racing be if no rider ever made any dubious/debatable/reportable/risky moves on/around/to monopolize the racing line?
Exactly... sheeple would complain about *that*.

The only thing I would suggest to the brilliant Zarco (looking at Lin Jarvis' face) is 'don't take out your future factory seat.' Post Rossi he's got to be top contender.

    Yeh well...

Rossi.. has been told to NOT bin the bike.....Not .. Bin it.

Mr Z has every right to ride as HE sees fit.....just as every other rider has.

It is no longer about the bike .... the factory.....the tyre.... FFS!

It is now about the RIDER... Just How Racing Should Be............yoo geddit!?

    Works for me....

And on a less serious note...

    Dear Johann,
Give me my fucken money back, you cheese-gargling snail-kisser.
What the bastard fuck was that?
You had one job. ďTake Rossi out,Ē I said.
ďSend him to spend time in the Clinica Mobile,Ē I insisted.
ďHereís a nice pile of Euros Matthias wants you to have,Ē I explained.
    How fucking hard was that?
We all knew George was not going to win. Or podium. Or anything.
The sad cazzo even picked soft compound tyres front and rear because he was terrified of bats or something. I donít even know anymore. Itís not like anyone even listens to him when heís gnawing on the walls of his trailer and breaking things.
    Itís like owning a chimpanzee.
So I thought weíd do something nice for him. Cheer him up. Rossi having his legs splinted with titanium rods would have been just the thing.
You were perfect for the task. Youíre new, so everyone expects you to crash into people at random. Crazy Iannone has been around for ever and he still does that.
And youíre French, so thereís no act of vile treachery youíre not capable of.
So I give you a pile of money and what do you do? You catapault Rossi forward!
I belted down to Race Direction with another pile of money and the phone number of a top-notch cathouse, and the best they could do was a 0.3-second penalty for The Doctor.
And we know how that worked out, donít we, Johann? The bastard now leads the championship and George has gone AWOL from the reservation.
I canít find him. I can hear weeping inside a pile of old tyres, but that could be that Abrahams kid, or Lowes. They all sound the same to me when they sook.
It looks like Iíll have to contact the US border police in case George intends on making a new life for himself south of the Rio Grande.
I have to go now. Matthias is calling me, doubtlessly to have me explain how a multiple world champion can start in sixth and finish in who-gives-a-shit ninth, and also why the idiot Frenchman canít do as heís paid to do.
    Talk soon, surrender-boy,
    Gigi.

Zarco had a right to have a crack. Rossi going off may have been the only option. (picking it up then going round the corner may have meant he was on the dirty bit of the track and may have crashed like his team mate.)

The penalty was fair as it didn't disadvantage the front runners nor did it unduly affect Rossi.

I wonder if being consistent, Rossi can win the championship without winning a single race?

    My problem with the incident....

    It's a fair move.
You're kidding yourself if you think they all wouldn't have a crack at that.

Was there not a right hand turn immediately following, Rossi would not have elected to run on and rejoin; he'd have sat up for a fraction of second, then cranked back over and got on with it, having lost a second or so to Zarco.

The 0.3 second penalty is rubbish.

When you get passed, you loose time.

He got dusted up, and gained time, and they still only managed to dock him the time he gained.

    Ffs....

Zarco's move was... well, vanilla, in terms of racing passes. Without any Rossi hate in this, I just don't get the mentality of a racer who has decided to stop fighting, and will look for these alternatives.
The greatest excitement comes from besting who you were yesterday.

Crashed because Rossi brake checked him....

Either way Marquez did it better after Rossi ran him off track at the corkscrew.
