    Local parts sources for Ducatis?

    Hi guys,

Looking for some bits and bobs for my 996. Rather than order form overseas and wait, just wondering if there are any local parts guys people go to. Anyone got a favourite wrecker or parts dealer? Will source from overseas if needed, but was hoping to get some bit before Christmas break so I can do something useful with my time off

Looking at getting some consumables like Viton o-rings and the like so I'm not caught out, but also looking for an oil pressure switch, crank sensor, original heel guards, original clutch cover, stuff like that.

Any leads would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

Was wondering where he went, we used to race slot cars against each other on Saturday nights when in early teens! His brothers were also geniuses in making things go fast.

    Viton o-rings?
Figure out sizes and go to a proper bearing and seal supplier.

Yep, that's what I did for the o-rings. Statewide Bearings in Kewdale had loads of them, they're about $0.35 each

It has carbon on there at the moment, but I like the look of the stock brushed metal finish. Has the originals with it too, but they look like shit so was hoping for fresh ones.

Same deal with the clutch cover.

Not a priority right now though, main priority is getting rid of the misfire/stumble at around 5krpms it seems to have when it's hot... Getting there slowly

Buck the trend, have the carbon heel guards vinyl wrapped in a brushed aluminium finish.
