Not really. Officers have to be specifically pursuit trained for a real pursuit, and as some old members of this forum have said they're not very good anyway. If you're specifically talking about an FNR, you'd have to do 140 (50+90) on a suburban street to have your bike permanently taken. It's a good thing we don't do that on FNRs

I haven't actually read the law yet but the gist of it I got was, hooning in a school zone or suburban street...

    So that's 95 (50+45)...

Are you capable of doing that yet?

Are you capable of leaving home without your Zimmer frame old man ? If you are I'm happy to take you out for a night of bingo and mahjong, but we might get home a bit past your bed time (8-8:30)

Edit: AFAIK the permanent seizure is if you're found doing 90 kms over OR you commit a hoon offence in a school zone
    Rest in Peace

Old woman in vic hit the wrong peddle in a school zone not long ago and killed someone.
    No charges.

As always, you'll be punished worse for the possible risk to others, than if you actually cause harm.
The greatest excitement comes from besting who you were yesterday.

Maybe tell that to the D'Ercole family As for the FNR's maybe they have tamed down since I went on a couple many years back as we definitely got close to 90+ at times
Not that it matters as it only needs to be 45+ over in a suburban street going by what Halo posted

So the new hoon laws come in next week but increased fines/jail time for drink and drug driving with children in the car won't be introduced unless LIEberal win next election.

Should be increased regardless of children in the car.

So the 'law' encourages drug/drink drivers' to ' leave the kids' home alone...? ( for lesser charges...) O C'mon...!

Them where the days.. boys in Blue would call off the chase at 210kmph.. sometimes.. MY FRIEND DIDN'T DIE FROM SPEEDING.. Funny that.. Country runs of 250kmphishy.. Speed does not KILL .. ITS THE SUDDEN STOP THAT DOES..
