Debatable. At least Krusty is a deliberate misuse of the name. Wrong spelling or the wrong name implies lack of attention to detail/care and/or lack of respect for said person to even get their name right. I remember despite being given someone's name via text I looked up the website to see if it was Carolyn or Caroline. The person sending me the name via text actually had it wrong so was glad I checked. Addressed the person with the correct spelling and she comes back to me with Kirsty... d'oh (another Simpson's reference ). Another one is giving someone your email address in the form k. <surname>@blah.com.au and they write Dear Christy... you had to physically enter k. etc into the address bar...

But I can deal with Christy if it means my eyes aren't assaulted as often with superfluous apostrophes

    INB4 Christy/Christie/Kirsty/Kirstie/Krusty/superfluous apostrophes/other grammatical abominations

    Edit: nope, still being assaulted

Did this in stationary traffic, person didn't check review and pulled out on me to make a last second right turn as they couldn't be fucked waiting in traffic queue any longer. I got blamed. Do not recommend.

To me, driver's are not expecting anything on their right in a single lane road and will not look, whereas on their left they'll naturally at least look in the rear view/side mirror as its a far away point for them. What I've noticed anyway.

cagers generally dont look anyway so its best to get the overtake done quick.

just a luck of the draw as to which one pulls out and when.

Shooting to the front of the traffic is fine. Undertaking is when you overtake on the LHS of the vehicle - you're supposed to overtake on the RHS. If you're on the RHS of the LH lane when overtaking, you're golden. They're saying you "undertook" on the LHS of the RH lane... which you can do while the traffic is stationary, but a no-no when it's moving.

I do all my splitting to the left of the right lane - I find theres more room as cagers tend to stick to the right side of the lane.

I remember that rule no overtaking in the left hand lane at the lights if the two lanes join to become one lane. I have known people to be booked for that so if you were splitting in the lh lane on the right side of that vehicle and overtook the vehicle in the right hand lane if the lanes joined to become one you can be booked unless the law has changed since i got my licence.

Yeah, probably right. At the end of the day though, it's just a case of coppers seeing an opportunity for making a booking.

I think it comes down to their attitude and the rider's at the time but some people just can't help themselves.

you're right, you can't undertake. In my experience if your doing it with stand still traffic at a safe speed you mostly wont have any dramas.
I stress the safe speed point, they'll stop you if your splitting Kwinana at 80km/h tho haha
