Rider down Claremont Cnr Stirling Hwy and Bayview

Very recent. Seemed to involve 2 cars. CPR had commenced. Cops first on scene, no paramedics when I passed, just first aiders.

    Hoping.

GTSam and I came from the east side so we thought it was just a car on car crash.
Didn't want to say gloss black sportbike when I only saw it for less than a second before I immediately looked for the rider. Not pretty.

early reports were blaming the rider for the car cutting across him, they have amended their wording thankfully.

    RIP to the rider.

Hits home when it's a road / intersection I use frequently.

Sincerest condolences to the family and friends.

There are accidents there so frequently too. I use that intersection several times a day in my car but have started to detour to queenslea drive/ Stirling highway instead as it's a much better intersection

When we drove past, he was on the ground and someone was administering CPR. Interestingly there was no helmet in sight, he also wasn't wearing much gear if any at all. Very sad nonetheless

    RIP rider.
One headline still says motorbike crashed into two cars. It's amazing how the media can change the perception of an incident by its wording. Yes it did hit two cars (eventually), but car causes collision or pulled out from side street always seems to be omitted in the headlines.
Out of respect, get it right.

That someone was a doctor passing by who was kind enough to stop and administer first aid.

    RIP to the rider.

All the news reports say that the car came from Bayview terrace, but it was facing the wrong way to have done that so unless they were going the wrong way down a one way street....

Saw the wreckage from the cars, thought "Ouch, someone's going to have some bad whiplash" -> spot the motorbike, "Fuck. Someone might be dead"...crazy how fast it can all change.

To be fair though, there was a lot of bleeding, head trauma and the attending was a doctor, so he may have removed those items and we didn't see it.

    Devastating outcome.
    RIP.

Would also this be from locking the rear tyre ?
    Hope it is.

Given it was near Bayview Tce Claremont the place should be riddled with them
