Question Cops in Mounts bay rd, City Motorbike parking checking licenses now

    Hey All,

thought I would just let you know that two Cops on Motorbikes are checking licenses and given a big speech just after 5:15 today in Mounts bay rd Parking area.

Paraphrasing: "90% of deaths are motorcyclists between 20 and 30 years old. The commissioner has said there has been a lot of galavanting by motorcyclists lately. Tone it down or the commission was come down hard, enforce everything more strictly, putting number plates on the front of bikes etc."

Any one get checked or know why they were doing it?
Just saw the "O'Callaghan" and Runner thread, having a read now.

    Cheers

That's good to know, if they start using that one I can just say "well I'm over 50 now" jump on my bike and fuck off

Just think, if they'd come before 5.15 they might have actually had to do some police work by catching the thieves that frequent the carpark during business hours.

I found the ones that breatho'd and drug tested me on the Weir rd weren't concerned about the bike, just that the tyres were legal...

I had just gassed it out of the round about before I saw them so open twin arrows and open airbox were barking...

    Said the bike looked good...

number plates on the front of bikes would be scare tactics, having a plate on the front of a bike goes against every stupid pedestrian safety rule they have.. and as for stickers find me a spot on the zx10 where it would fit, they would have to be tiny new regulations on plate size would have to be made & all the enduro boys will rejoice
