    70's strokers

GT750 (prefer J model - would consider later model if outstanding) must be original or restored to original.
T500 - must be original or restored to original.
H1500 (earlier year the better) must be original or restored to original.

    Prefer bikes located in WA.
If restored, must be well done, not interested in cheaper examples that are poorly restored.
    Cash, negotiable based on condition.

Folks - I should have added above that the bikes need to be complete & original (no aftermarket pipes, for example, unless the originals are part of the deal), thanks.

Have a look at this site it is NZ eBay equivalent
Far out price for a H2 looks a bit ruff for what your looking for but you might find something over there

keys there are examples elsewhere but I've bought sight unseen before and been burnt.
Also tried a resto on an incomplete H1 prior but couldn't get some parts (i.e. upper RHS exhaust) and ended up quitting it as a project, lost big time.

Fuck... now you've done it keys... check this out, a gorgeous original T500: http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...1293925136.htm

    New Plymouth... good grief.
At least it would be a fun ride to Hamilton or Auckland for shipping.
Of course, return airfares, accom and packing/shipping/insurance would cost me $3k or so... if i had the time to go check it out.

Anyone have a local T500 or waterbottle they have stashed away... puhleeeease?

I sighted a T500 today and sent PM. They must be around. My RZ 350 needs a bit of TLC.

I have time on my hands. You pay the airfares and accommodation and I'll check it out for free. ...I might stay a little while longer than you planned to though

    Anyone Nowra-bound?

    http://www.justauto.com.au/justbikes...cktext=Results

    Jeebus.... must be something local?

Called that Freo shop Graelin, customer bike, not for sale.
Left my mobile No, asked them to ask the question.

So.... where's that J Model GT750 hiding out there somewhere... anyone?

Hope you find one and would love to see it.

My 500 was toured and road raced. Very fond memories of a $400 bike.

Are the drums a bit better than early disks? I borrowed a mates K model a few times, absolutely loved the bike, but the brakes are shear terror.

I think he may also be selling it but haven't spoken to him for a while, can check if you like.

The 4LS drum on the GT750 was superior to the later disks, but it's not that so much as being a particular model from my misspent youth.
Happy to talk to your mate with the disk model, but it would have to be mint for me to be interested

I'll pay $12-14k for a nice J model, but won't pay that much for the later models. I can score an M in immaculate condition for $9k, for example...
...but holding out (been looking for two years for a local bike i can walk up to and inspect/negotiate for) for my precious J

This leaves Geelong tomorrow... bound for Sprint Central.

    Where's my GT750 lurking?
Anyone know anyone in the vintage Japanese scene here in WA?
