Let's hope this con man is made to repay EVERY cent he has illegally been paid, and every single piece of bogus legislation passed with his help is repealed! Then they can also jail him for fraud!

haha it was a rhetorical question... ok not a question at all, just wishful thinking. Anyway, I'm happy that this nutjob will disappear from our political landscape (and no, I'm not suggesting that many others are much better, a lot of other political careers are also based on lies and quasi religious beliefs)

Tim - does your vitriol also apply to Tony Abbott and his UK dual citizenship?

How can this man be disliked?! He was amazing on so many levels. Sad to hear of his departure.

You sure you're not thinking about Scott Morrison?

Of course not. He wouldnt be a true Liberal supporter if he didnt ignore the exact same issue that affected his party.

This is the saddest thread I have ever seen on PSB. An absolutely pathetic attempt to slander a man who has worked tirelessly in the interests of Western Australia and the environment. I can't think of anything Ludlam has ever done wrong. He speaks passionately, and we are much poorer for losing him from politics.

You are an inspiration Scott. If I were to become a politician, I would model how I conduct myself after you. Bravo on 9 years of making a difference.

He should , at least, not receive his fkn pension/super/freebies/entitlements etc etc...fkn hairstyle fuk.....( the Kiwi bit I find amusing, downfall...nah very clever rouse...)

Edit....IIRC... all super and entitlements are paid in full as of 8 years in parliament.. as a sitting member.. I get this.. full pay as a golden handshake--

For life-full pension of free flights/medical etc etc access to super..

paid @ 23% of actual wage/salary in excess of 185K / annum ( not too sure on tax rate....) this is enough to have him killed with fire.. IMHO....

He is not entitled to a pension. Perhaps if you educated yourself on the subject, you would know that. Do you repay work entitlements you received as an employee when you quit a job ?

Googled it, first result was this: http://www.smh.com.au/federal-politi...03-gna6c1.html

"Only available to politicians elected before 2004, the defined benefits scheme already costs taxpayers more than $40 million a year."

    2017 - 9 = 2006, the year Ludlam took office.

For a lefty I must be unnaturally clever to work that out

soo back to the real world.... I guess that the 'dual citizenship' is declared on his passport... has he never left the country ..????

Is there a list of "the good things" he has achieved whilst being a total fraud..?

Great mileage from this ... I watch ABC TV @ work....so was ready to ignite some 'robust and passionate debate' as the "Lets allow device manufacturers to unlock the phone of terrorists/pedos'/crims..". WTF?

Where will that lead ...do you think.?

Just thought I'd share one of the proudest memories I have of Senators Scott Ludlam and Richard Di Natale, standing up against the destructive Western Australian Liberal government bulldozing of the Bilyar wetlands. Scott grew up in the southern suburbs, and lived in Bibra Lake for some of his time as a child/adolescent (much like me). Seeing so many national- politicians (primarily Greens party members) gathering to support the local community was an emotional and inspirational moment for me. I'll never forget the speech they gave, and how they proved through their actions that not all politicians are corrupt or self-serving

    Once again, thanks Scott

Ummm... 'not self serving or corrupt..' Are they not elected politicians..? In a position of power..? To force others to accept ..their way of thinking..?

Is that not the worst example of the human experience....to gain support by following the path of least resistance.?

Even if ' they ' are seen to be for the people...are they simply and no more than 'in it for their own popularity' irrespective of the so-called humanitarian/environmental result achieved.

To put it simply.."if a politician is unpopular,,be it in the party room OR the huskings, their career days are numbered." ( Pauline Hanson ...being an exception to the rule..)

You're an idiot...no wonder people dislike you. Scott Ludlam appreciation thread my arse. He's done some good work, but that's the job he was paid to do. I had a chat with him in Freo, when he was here to talk about the population/traffic/energy issues in WA. Some good points, but he could not give a strategy on our most pressing issue...water. He danced around that subject like any other politician...
