Why the dislike Mr Bean? I think I hit the nail square on the head.

    You've got three types of people voicing their opinion on here;

    - Those who will ride/race on anything and accept the inherent risks, as it's part of riding.

    - Those who think that things must change to the point where motorcycling will contain as much risk as reading a magazine.

    - Those who believe that some changes must be made with some concessions.

None of them will alter their view, none of them (I'm pretty sure) are actively involved in the actual processes going on. And all continue to stick to their guns, repeating the same rhetoric over and over again, like they have it on cut/paste each time they see a new post in here mashing their keyboards like they are going through a bout of full body Tourette Syndrome.

If this isn't a text book circle jerk of fuckwittery like only PSB can deliver, I challenge you to find a more shining example.

Ha ha... well perhaps more discussion is needed then...

    - "Those who will ride/race on anything and accept the inherent risks, as it's part of riding." A very simplistic principal, but certainly not a solution no matter how much name calling, blame game, gang up bullyboy prattle is attached. The debate is not about the riders willingness to ride, it is the liability risk for those that declare the track safer than what has been identified in the 2 safety reports. Repeat... ignoring the problem does not make it go away no matter how much fun it is for those participating. If you only like this view, just continue to only read these posts and dislike any others and it will continue to make you feel better.

" - Those who think that things must change to the point where motorcycling will contain as much risk as reading a magazine." I don't know of anyone demanding that as the sport is risky. It is about risk management trying to negate the walls being too close to the track.

"- Those who believe that some changes must be made with some concessions." This is the most productive debate as it is about risk management needed and will lead to a solution. Understanding different viewpoints helps. Every track rider wants the track open, some with changes and some without. WASCC leases the land and manages the track and has designed and altered the track to be more suitable for cars but would like income from bike events. Organisers for track events are faced with trying to manage the liability issue of managing risk enough in order to approve the track and be exempt from liability.

Simple... if you don't want to read anyone else's opinion, don't read them. Hopefully you will feel better when you ride.
Life is NOT a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming: "Wahoo!! What a ride!"

What is a Recreational Motorcycle Ride Day?

Ride days are exciting and fun on track experiences for all riders from first timers through to seasoned track day junkies who prefer riding on a closed race track environment rather than public roads. We cater for all levels of riders with four individual groups that a rider can chose from according to their experience and ability. Our Ride Days are not a race or race practice days, they are aimed squarely at the leisure ride day motorcyclists wanting to have a fun day at the track.

If you want to test the speed and limits of your motorbike in a controlled environment, without speed cameras, other cars, or other hazards that you get on the road then a ride day is a great way to spend the day riding and socialising with like-minded enthusiasts and mates.

The Four Groups You Can Enter:

Formula Group / For entry level riders and those who prefer to ride at a casual pace.

GT Group / For riders who want to take a step up in pace from the Formula Group.

Corsa Group / For advanced riders who have experience and pace beyond either the Formula or GT groups

FX Group / A group for the most experienced riders with dedicated track bikes who ride at pace beyond the other three groups.

    So not really for racers

...and revenue cams are not really for revenue 😇
The only thing wrong with a perfect ride to work is that you end up at work.
