Lots... am riding PI today and tomorrow Phillip Island, awesome track and love Eastern Creek, Sydney the next and Tailem Bend is meant to be fantastic too. Barbs can certainly do with some improvements

Life is NOT a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming: "Wahoo!! What a ride!"

I was just thinking it’s time for your weekly reminder to us that you get to ride PI.

Joys of retirement There are lots of things you can do when you go without when you are younger and you need to make the most of the time you have

To be fair, it sure beats hearing about how shit you think Perth and MV's are.

I don't think Perth is shit... am heading there for a party tomorrow
and can't remember complaining about MV's except when one hit me and one got me a speeding fine trying to dodge him cutting in and slamming on his brakes just before a fixed camera.

you mean dirt bikes for people who cant handle proper offroad terrain and instead boast about hopping a few curbs and urban obstacles at a slightly higher speed than I could do on a supersport?

I'm not searching for it but I remember saying many months ago that "if a solution could be agreed on and MA gave assurance that they would issue the licence once completed then WASCC would commit to the work" (paraphrased)…
I also remember several people ridiculing this statement (the usual suspects)
Not interested in apportioning blame for the delay, and certainly taking absolutely no credit for anything as I had NO involvement, but from MC news today:
"MWA forwarded these drawings to Motorcycling Australia (MA) who have provided written confirmation that, pending successful completion of the works and a subsequent inspection, MA would issue Barbagallo Raceway an appropriate license."

So well done to MCRCWA, WASCC and MWA!

We must all now hope that the works can be scheduled into the window of opportunity, which is now less than 2 months away! If they pull this off it will be amazing.

Of course, but my point was that the criteria for WASCC committing to spending the money and doing the work has now been met.

The point of meaningful discussion on this topic on PSB passed about 12 18 months ago.

Very true. A supersport would fly up Gallup House stairs piece of piss after the fairings got ripped off during the climb.

I knew you’d never forget when Crobbo’s XR650 motard gave you a hard time on the FNR. That was funny to watch

Haha...Not you Jules. I quoted Turbo.

Did you say party? I reckon you'd be a blast to party with.
