Old but serviceable Moto Cross gear

    Hi peeps,

Chasing mx gear on a budget, looking for:
    • Bike stand
    • Boots
    • Body armour
    • Servicing tools

As per title must have a bit of life left in the items, reason being cannot afford large investment due to potentially finding out what I think I can do in the dirt v what my body can recover from being potentially 2 very different things.

Pm please and will reply - cheers in advance Nudge

I suggest articulated knee guards. Ideally Pod, A*s, EVS, Leatt etc.
Helps protect from potential serious knee issues, as it helps prevent unwanted angles of knee movement.

Yeah heard something about these, I am thinking might spend a bit more coin here and research a bit further on this, thanks.

What budget are you looking at? What size foot are you, also have you looked into a neck brace?

Just do it. Seriously, if you look up the standing rules of PSB it goes something like this.

    1. Dont be a dick
    2. Desmo is allowed to be a dick (sometimes)
    3. Buy the one with the most Duke
    4. Dont ask about fixing the search function.
    etc etc..

    Cheap as !

So looking for gear for me and my son, so boots, for me 44-46 & 40 -44.

Really am restarting from scratch and willing to take a look around. Don't want to go more than 500 for a lot of stuff 4 me and young bloke can pay his own way...

Neck brace? Not considered but could do, now that you mention it.

Have had these boots sitting around almost 8 years, haven't been used in 5. Size 9, quick clean with a wet rag they will come up a treat. Buckles still work no problems. The neck brace was predominantly used for mountain biking. It's 4 years old. Brought second hand but it's pretty much brand new. Comes with all the adjustment fittings and instruction books.
There all yours if you cover the postage? I'm in QLD, otherwise if you know someone doing to trip across for ASBK in morgan park I will be in attendance. Can drop them to someone to Bring back. Just don't see me using them again anytime soon. Happy to pass the love on.

No problems, sorry I didn't give the old boots a spit polish. Glad they have gone to a good home and are actually being used! 2 kids under 4.....only riding I get done these days is the commute to work!
