They're mostly ex-mine roads, just been resurfaced. So that sounds about right

Fuck yeah. last bit of extension is like the extension that was done to eastern creek, really mixes it up on that track but would suit collie perfectly. The speed into the old turn 5/6 is gonna be huge, so a resurfacing is a good call

Here is the link to the Collie Phase 2 Funding announcement made on Facebook last week or so.

Looks like the second phase of funding is for national safety accrediation of the circuit and better spectator facilities etc. Cant wait to get on track!

    Thank you.
It is a great track. Very busy.
Iím looking forward to the extensions and the resurface.
The rubber is slippery wet or dry. I couldnt get any drive on it either way.
Not sure how slicks would feel on it but I know the RS10s were horrible.
Dropped them to 30psi and it made no difference at all.

Maddy took a video of a lap. In the middle of the track trying find some drive and all you hear is the rev limiter in every gear and Iím not going any bloody faster.
    Probably slower.
    I think I did 3 or 4 shifts. Only do 1 normally.

Only out there when I was trying to pass someone.
And that was a failure. They got further ahead.

I dunno. It was quite fun wheel spinning the whole length of the start finish straight on the 750 while overtaking a newb in moderns the last Historic tuning day.

Might have wondered what he was thinking if I wasn't to busy pissing myself laughing at the time 😂

    No talent involved. Trust me.

Every time I got to full throttle it would spin up but stay straight so meh WTF roll off a bit and have another bite.

Itís really not bad after the first round of sessions in the dry. Get a bit of warm bike rubber on the top and itís all good for the rest of the day.

Sam Clark managed to unofficially knock nearly 2 sec off the lap record on a borrowed bike. Gotta be some grip there ( and a little helping of talent to )

Pretty sure that was BlackFZR's bike, I was there on the sunday and folks were still buzzing from the day before.
I had a few twitchy bot bot moments discovering limits of traction that day, first track day ever. Hooked.
