    FREE: Motobatt R1 battery

    Part # MBTZ10s, came out of a 2007 R1.

Still cranks hard, I've just put a lithium in.

Pick up in Butler or Beechboro.

What’s the date on it ? Batteries are only good for a few years, and not every council lets you recycle them for free

Kwinana tip is the only tip in Perth I know of that recycles motorcycle tyres and batteries for free. Literally never heard of it until I went there to drop off something else

I know you used to be able to drop off batteries at Stirling Recycling centre along with oil etc, not sure on tyres Wanneroo say to leave batteries and oil next to the bins for collection but obviously don't tell the drivers or the drivers CBF'ed

    Recyclable items
•Clean glass bottles and jars (please remove lids then place into recycling bin)
•All clean paper - newspaper, magazines, junk mail, office paper, clean food bags, yellow/white page (not bundled)
•Cardboard, clean pizza boxes, egg boxes, toilet roll tubes, cereal boxes, beer/drink cartons
•Paperboard cartons, juice cartons, milk cartons - rinsed and flattened
•Plastic bottles - milk, cordial, ice-cream, yoghurt, margarine, health supplements, cleaning products, hygiene products (rinsed with lids removed) then place lids into recycling bin separately
•Aluminium cans, clean foil and pie/takeaway trays (rinsed)
•Steel food and pet food cans (rinsed), empty aerosols, paint cans (cleaned and dried)

Place the following items next to your yellow lid bin:
    •Car batteries
•Used engine oil (up to five litres - in original container ONLY)
It's a PITA when you try and do the right thing as our yellow bin is always full every fortnight while the green is lucky to be 1/3 full unless the missus trims the rose bushes
