Kinda. Iannone was in front of Marc, also riding slow, waiting for Marc to pass him.

What was with media presence at the post-race presser?

Dylan was a great loss to the show.

What a fucking boring race. Actually fast forwarded some of it (recorded and watched it before work)
And very annoying that one of the best battles Miller, Rabat, Aleix (and briefly Lorenzo who was handsomely shat on - bit cheeky etc) was mostly glazed over. Was a drag race to the line, only 0.3 or something between them.

    8th Tito RABAT +28.537
    9th Jack MILLER +28.671
    10th Aleix ESPARGARO +28.875

Rossi didn't win and Marquez wasn't in any controversy.

I tend not to listen to the commentary.

I miss Nick Harris and Dylan Gray

Despite Nick's recycled phrases and Dylan's constant 'sorry guys', there was something reassuring and comforting about knowing what to expect from the commentary team.

Nick did a great job of remaining neutral in his commentary despite his love of Marquez. The most you'd get out of him was "That's a bit naughty from Iannone" or something like that.
He used "That was a bit cheeky" at least twice.

Nick was the best commentator they've had. Keith & Julian were great in their day, Crafar is just a fuckwit IMO

Nick's phrases may have been repeated slightly too often but they were good commentary at least
...He's thrown the kitchen sink at him
    ...keeping his powder dry
...classic 'whatever track on the day' overtake
    and so on

Marquez only a smidge behind at Qatar, should have slayed them at Argentina and not even trying at Austin, doesn't look real good for the rest of them. After a few years on a difficult bike and still winning, this years bike looks so much better to ride, I fear a dull season ahead.

Yes I know "Vinales" last year after a few races, but Vinales is not a relaxed, confident Marquez, on a bike he seems to like........

It's bloody crazy to think we've never had a Marquez/Vinales head to head show down!

I never said Marquez was being immature. Jack said both of them were being immature.

"We are all here racing and risking our lives and I think for these fans to pick sides and fight against each other - and also riders to fight against each other - I think it's quite silly and immature. They are quite old and they have to remember that life is short and we are risking our lives here."

I fell asleep right before the Moto2 started and woke up just before the warmup lap of the MotoGP. I should have just stayed asleep.

"Has Zarco already signed for KTM?
La Gazzetta.it says the deal is already done
    Tags MotoGP, 2018, Johann Zarco
According to La Gazzetta.it, Monster Yamaha Tech 3 rider Johann Zarco has signed with Austrin factory KTM to join Red Bull KTM Factory Racing from 2019. The contract, says the paper, is for two seasons - 2019 and 2020 - and was signed at the Americas GP.

Zarco has already been linked with the as-yeat unsigned seat at Repsol Honda, however - and another factor is the change of machinery for Tech 3 from next season. The team will be ending their relationship of twenty years with Yamaha, and moving to...KTM. And with the same spec bikes as the Red Bull KTM factory squad...could that make a difference in Zarco's decision?"
