    Aw fark! :s

Watched Jerez from last year the other night.
Marc and Dani were on rails and rolled away with it (with Dani winning by 1 second).

Zarco: I'm confident I can win in Jerez, or at least reach the podium, and I'll do all I can to make the most of the Yamaha's characteristics”.
The European rounds is the real test for the Yamahas. Zarco should be ok as he's on the 2016 M1, but Europe is where we saw the drop off for the factory Yamahas in 2017.

Semi-disagree, Yamaha struggled at Jerez and Catalunya because there was no grip at the circuit and their bike didn't do well in that situation but Jerez has been resurfaced since then and I think Catanlunya has as well. They won at LeMans(comfortably) and Vinales was second in Mugello. What changed for Yamaha was the new tyre being introduced in Mugello followed by a new chassis being introduced at Assen against Vinales' strong objections which almost immidiately made him uncompetitive.

And Rossi thinking he knows better this his team who have been watching Marquez's lap times drop during a flag to flag.

Which is ironic because he was the one who pushed for the new bike communications system after he did the same thing in Sachsenring in 2016.

I think Yamaha would have to be a little nervous here, resurfacing or not. Last year the bikes went from hero to zero here, they already know the Honda is already a very well sorted machine, Marquez is on fire, Pedrosa won here last year, Yamaha will need a competitive weekend so that doom and gloom doesn't settle over the team.

Ducati last won here with Caparossi in 2006?, only a few podiums since, not their track at all.

Hoping Dukes and Yammies go well though, don't need another soul destroying Marquez exhibition.......

Marquez has finished on the podium at Jerez every year he's raced in MotoGP, but he's only won once. Dani runs pretty well here too.

    However...

Dani is still recovering from injury.
There's no long straights and Dovi hasn't been running well at non Ducati tracks in 2018.
Jerez relies on turning ability and edge grip so the Yamaha is an unknown although the track has been resurfaced.
Lorenzo has been running worse than last season, however he was on the podium in Jerez last year.

My prediction...the podium is going to be a Honda, a Yamaha and a Suzuki.

Zarco officially confirmed at Redbull factory racing team for next two seasons. Will Bradley Smith get a satellite ride or his motogp time over?

    Worst kept secret this season!

Brad might get a last minute deal, but it'll only because a satellite team is desperate. There's so much talent in Moto2 right now I don't like his chances.

But then again, Scott Redding somehow manages to keep a ride...

Bradley Smith has taken being dropped pretty well. He said KTM has never hidden the fact they were after a top rider and it was up to him and Pol to battle it out to see who got the number 2 spot and Pol decisively won.

Yeah that makes sense. He may not be the fastest dude out there, but he never seemed like an idiot.
I reckon he'll probably make a pretty good commentator

I hope he doesn't lose any more hair over it. Poor bugger.

It's around the 2 minute mark. After a real awkward period of Jorge trying to translate a questions for him the reporter asked again, "what are you frightened of" to which he said "Marc".

Maybe a whole bunch of little things combining here, a bit fitter, thinking a little more, better management, a bike to suit his style, [ possible Factory ride.....? ] coming together slowly for this lad.
