On Frech TV Zarcos Manager is saying that no one helped them at Yamaha and Rossi actively blocked them.

    Crutchlow on Pole...

Will it last? Or end in the gravel?

Zarco again putting the factory team to shame,Marquez in fifth Dani normally does very well here from memory just depends on his fitness for the whole race.

Well now he is a "top 6 rider" i predict an equal chance of coming 6th or ending up in the gravel.

No way. I dont believe it. Rossi would NEVER go out of his way to hinder other riders. He is concerned with it being a level playing field so its fair for everyone.

Lin Jarvis needs to be sacked. One championship in 5 years and it was gifted to Yamaha by Marquez throwing it down the road 6 times.

How old is Lin Jarvis? Aren't Japanese factories something like compulsory retirement at 60?

I agree with the sentiment though. I now think Yamaha are saddled with an aging warhorse and a talented newbie who's searing ambition is outweighing his ability to "think shit through".

I'm hoping for more competitive Yammies on race day, but as the temp goes up it seems the bike goes backwards.....

I don't think Jarvis should be sacked for the lack of results because IMO that has been beyond his control. Yamaha have had better bikes that Honda recently but Marquez might be the most talented rider ever on the grid.

However I agree he should be sacked, he has zero control over one of his riders and has allowed one of his riders to bring the sport into disrepute over the last few years. He allowed a world championship party to be cancelled because the 'right' rider didn't win the title. He allowed Lorenzo, the man who has brought Yamaha it's last 3 titles to walk, which has had the knock on effect of their bikes becoming a mess. He allowed one of his riders to derail the others championship last year.

I do have a suspicion though that these things aren't entirely Jarvis and Yamahas fault because DORNA apply pressure to Yamaha(much like they did to put Rossi back on a Yamaha in 2013) to keep Rossi happy, racing and somewhat competitive because it means millions of dollars in their pockets.

While I 'm not doubting Rossi's tremendous influence on the sport, I do believe the sport will survive quite nicely without him. I for one have been to many GP's, here and overseas, I've never been just to see one rider in action, it's about the event/bikes/mates/pretty girls and so on. I don't even think the Italian GP will be that much down on attendance. Plus he will be "around" as such as team owner/manager/brand salesman or whatever.

In all sports there has been champions who dominated for a very long time [ think Jordan/Tendulkar for example ] and once they went, well the sun still rose the next day.

As long as the racing is competitive and interesting, the fans will follow.......be it at the track or on the tube.

Used himself and his bike like a wrecking ball and wiped out most of the lead group. Think Marquez but less talented.

Took out Arbolino, Bastianini, and Martin in one go, as well as himself.

They were all at the front, 2-5.

Marquez vs Rossi, Argentina: wrecking ball/bumper cars.
Canet vs half the lead pack, Jerez: hold my beer.
