    ^Yep.

They seem to have taken a wee step backwards.
Their #1 rider (AD) used to ride well without it ... they better get it sorted by mid-year.

As far as the 'storage' at the back is concerned... I thought they were storing all Crutchlow's excuses in it, and were going to give it to him at the Xmas party. Needed a bigger one obviously.

Credit where its due, when he isnt throwing it into the sand, Crutchlow is a pretty decent rider.

He put in a monster effort on Sunday after his crash on Saturday as well.

Surely they have race techs.. anyone else notice the fork angle needs to be steepened up a tad..overall ride could use a 10mm rear 5mm front increase too..I'm not even gonna talk about the wheelbase. (51% F 49% R bias..? it's a thing ...eh? )
Are the engineers sure they have all the info on getting through corners quickly ( mid corner - off/on throttle ) ?

Oh yeh .. "tha's it... we puttada wings on him he fly outtada corner now.." fkn retards.

and put a box on the tail....what ever happened to the drag/slipstream bullshit argument they used to make..( re; tail causing air turbulence and giving trailing rider a tow) ?

    Crutchlows hospital experience.

Also includes his usual "I could have been on the podium" statement.

This article is telling me Vinales might be regretting his decision to stay with Yamaha.

“I agreed to extend my contract so I can’t complain.”

I read some comments about how when Marquez moved to HRC, he had to learn how to discuss issues with the Japanese engineers because they had a different working culture. Originally he was describing problems, he'd jump back on the bike after they tinker with it, and nothing had changed. Once he learnt how to communicate what was needed, things got better.

Maybe Vinales has a similar issue.

I guess Vinales also inherited Lorenzo’s crew chief, whereas Marquez has been with Santi Hernandez since 2011. So whatever Marquez says will be communicated to the team through Santi as a filter. Vinales is dealing with a crew chief who had been with Lorenzo since 2008 so they need to learn to understand each other.

Yes, that is the same Santi Hernandez who got Marquez black flagged at PI in 2013 because he couldn’t count.

Have just heard Tito Rabat has had a bad crash in testing they said he is conscious and in hospital. Miller has made a statement saying factory ride or not he will have the updated gp19 next year and he will be happy if that happens.

Listening to BT Sports MotoGP podcast...

Joan Mir’s manager said there’s a 90% chance he’ll be in MotoGP next year with a factory team (Suzuki, Honda or Ducati).

No chance of him going to Ducati as it looks like Petrucci will be on the second Ducati with Dovi. And his manager said he only wants a factory team so Pramac is out.

Suzuki? I doubt Suzuki would want Rins and a rookie as Rins hasn’t yet fully come to terms with the bike.

So that leaves Repsol Honda. And why wouldn’t they want a young talent they can develop over the next few years as to get ready for Marquez’s eventual departure once he’s won a couple more titles.

Iannone most likely going to Aprilia.

So if Mir goes to HRC. That leaves Lorenzo and Pedrosa to fight over one seat at Suzuki. There’s no other factory rides available.

Could we see a grid in 2019 without Lorenzo or Pedrosa? Would Pedrosa take a satellite ride?

    Possible move to development/test rider?

Just because he says he wants a factory bike doesn't mean he gets one

He has a pre-contract with Honda for the factory team in 2019 that expires at the end of May. And has also been in talks with Suzuki and Ducati which he’ll be free to pursue if Honda chooses not to take him into the factory team.

Unless a factory puts a 3rd bike on the grid?

Are they still allowed to do that?

I dont see why not, it's not too different to when a test rider wildcards, they just have to pre inform RD when the rider will be there

But they don't get championship points though am I right? Or at least not constructor's points.

Yeah they do still add up
Cracks me up that Mika Kallio has done 1 wildcard race this year for KTM and he has more points than Smith whos the full time rider.
(And more than Redding and Abraham)

Couldn't ride a Honda, couldn't ride a Ducati, now can't ride the Aprilia...I think your time in the paddock is over Scott.

Almost as useless as Yonny Hernandez.

Redding 'lost his mind' amid Le Mans pressure

Speaking post-race, Redding admitted he was struggling to deal with the ever-increasing pressure, but said he "cannot show anything" with the current Aprilia RS-GP.

When asked if the French GP was a bad weekend for his future, he said: "I don't know, but f***, I can't do anything about it.

"I f***ing lost my mind yesterday [Saturday], I come in and I have pressure to show results but I cannot show anything. When I try to show [something], I crash.

"It is not easy because it is always in your mind, and you think 'okay, now this weekend will be better, you're in the safe zone.' I'm even more in the shit than I was before the weekend.

"The f***ing thing doesn't work for me at the moment, and like I said yesterday, we tried [everything], the bike is inside out from Jerez, completely opposite.

"Mugello [testing] feels good, come here, it's a f***ing waste of time. Makes no sense to go testing because it seems we always come back anyway."
