I don't think I have ever screamed at the TV like I did during that race. Pure gold.

Great exciting race ruined by another boring predicable result.

Many many over takes. A tight pack of 8 riders leading the start of the race. Loads of paint being traded. Eventually that pack got cut down. Lots of very close calls, for a while no one could lead the race for more than a few corners. Riders would go from 1st to fourth in a blink of an eye then be back to the lead etc.

Commentators saying maybe over 100 passes. That race has to be up there with one of the best.

Predictable? Who the fuck would have predicted Rins and Vinales on the podium and Rossi off it?

Wow!!! Best race I have ever seen. Unbelievable riding
Life is NOT a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming: "Wahoo!! What a ride!"

    2018 MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3 discussion (spoilers)

    For AZAZL

I need to see more angles of Rossi slamming JL up the arse.

How they both did not crash at 170kph is beyond me.

What part of Rossi’s bike hit the tail unit?

    Mav and Rins were aggressive!
    So good to see.

The Rins / MM “investigation” nearly made me spit out my food when that came up on screen.

Top 15 riders separated by 14? seconds.
Closest MotoGP race in history apparently.

They reckon this was better than PI a couple of years back - which I thought would be hard to top - but my heart rate was through the roof on lap 2 last night.
Speed Dealer - it was “predictable” because 93 won - let me roll my eyes.

He did fkn smack ‘em in the last 2-3 laps though. He was having some fun.

Loved the crowd shot of the Rossi fans when he would pass someone. They’d go apeshit (dunno why - he never actually led the race - oh yeah, it’s when he passes MM). And 3 seconds later the positions would change again.

    But yeah, pretty boring.

ive missed the last couple of motgp's watching live because well of other shit being on and I forgot but first live race for a few rounds and it was a cracker. although at the end 5 laps or so i was waiting for MM to pull the pin on them all, if he was still on the bike at that point, you cant have him consistently on low 34's and high 33's on every rear tyre in practice then then not pull out those times in a race??

but yeh boring race i much prefer the ones when he gets way out in front somewhere over the horizon and the camera pans to a single motogp bike playing park and shoot and the commentators say things like "the power of the Ducati" over and over till my head explodes.
I cant help it if your perceptions don't match my reality

Of course it's all Dovi's fault that Rossi didn't end up on the podium. How dare he not concede the corner while Rossi is on the outside of him. It's a shame he can't just say it was a great race and a lot of fun with some crazy passes from everyone.

    https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/90...inales-contact

Then you have Marquez who says Rins touching him nearly caused him to come off but it was his own fault because he was on the outside and the rider on the inside has the advantage.

Well - they did have a lot of wind to compensate for that wasn't there for any of the practice sessions.
Make it all the more impressive that he got back down to those times.
