O'Brien Road sand, and tarmac repair warning.

The only thing wrong with a perfect ride to work is that you end up at work.

Ryan if you need to ask that question there is an issue.

Some one has died who went to work this morning and did not come home, a bit of respect is due. You have no idea of the circumstances and I find that comment at the very least insensitive.

So when it's a normal motorcyclist that dies travelling 5-10km/h over the speed limit, it's speed related and they're a hoon etc etc. They don't go home to their family. Yet when it's a police officer on training it's a tragedy regardless of the circumstances, and somehow it's different ? I find the lack of consistency both in the media and in peoples reactions distasteful.

This is reminiscent the false outrage when Yassmin Abdel-Magied added Nauru into an ANZAC day post on Facebook (with no additional comment) and people flew off the handle.

I don't appreciate being lectured by police officers on the side of the road about speed, and yet when they speed and have an accident (as I have, and many other members of this forum have) it's different. I didn't say anything disrespectful, I asked a rhetorical question.
    Rest in Peace

I knew some coppers over thirty years ago including graelin, our mutual friends trevor cavanaugh (lurch) and doug trinder were fair country cops who actually rode pretty hard as did graelin all three were motorcycle enthusiasts two raced all were great guys.
I feel sorry for the coppers family my respects.

I agree with the point your making hypocritical police give you a lecture for 10-20ks over but do much higher speeds themselves.

Some of these bike cops arenít bad, best defence I had wasnít from my lawyer but the prosecutor Ďlucky didnít come off at that speed but unlucky the only other car on the road was a cop carí

Nobody deserves to die, Rip Rider.
