    +1 still have my old 11 1/2 yr old OGK Aeroblade II and the shell appears fine from a detailed inspection, I did have an off wearing it but it never hit the ground so kept using it no issues Only changed it out after about 6 years as constant use with sweat and washing the liner had made the liner get a bit shabby and loose plus the new FFV helmet was so much lighter Unfortunately the FFV only lasted a couple of years before I went face down on the road in it The current Aeroblade 3 is still doing OK but hasn't seen as much use as the others

    Shark helmets have a 5 year warranty canít see them doing that if a helmet is only supposed to last 2 years
    I normally replace mine every 3 or so years

    Hi bill i haven't spoken to you for a while, i agree with para045 if you keep the liner clean and don't have any damage to the shell they should last a long time, the only problem i can see with these new helmets is spare visors and the visor mounting parts.
    Mate stick to the facts not a fantasy.

    I have a shark vision R atm great helmet just not the best venting for summer so a lot of sweating
    Iím about to buy another helmet for summer commuting

    Not sure about other brands but the visors etc have been much the same on the OGK/Kabuto's for the last 3 models
