    Question baby ninja mods

So i have a 250 ninja 2012 model, because of the new licencing rules i wont be upgrading for at least another 2 years, so ive been doing it up a bit. so far ive done: rear seat cowling, front and back indicators changed to sporty looking arrow head shaped ones, tidy tail, tinted windscreen, yoshi pipe, taken the back foot pegs off along with the arm frame they sit on. is there any other mods worth doing in the future that anyone knows of? mostly looks wise not so much performance cant get much more out a 250 anyway. thanks xoxo

One of the best mods you can do looks wise is getting rid of your chicken strips. All it takes is a few tanks of fuel and a nice set of corners (or a trackday at Collie).

If that doesn't work, go into the cupboard under the kitchen sink and grab a Scotchbrite pad

lets see.. fart can.check. lame indicators. check. tinted screen. check.

other common mods on a 250 ninja would include rim tape. aftermarket mirrors. maybe the bar end ones and have them under the bars so you definitely wont see anything. light up valve caps. some fresh shinko tyres.
should try get some chrome stuff too.

save weight by only ever filling it 30%
advice from dwillia is good for power to weight. would also add remove rear brake calliper and run those shinkos at about 45psi for more speeds.

    Also try https://faq.ninja250.org/wiki/Ninja250_Howto
Note: this may not be the universe where the above is relevant.

Just put whatever money you were going to spend on mods in a high interest account and use it as a down payment on something nice in 2 years.

I rode basically a stock Duke 390 for over 3 years, just get out there and have some fun.

Did you pick up the seat cowl from someone in Balcatta? A Black one? If so then welcome to PSB and hope you got it back on the road!

My old one sounded mint with a yoshi pipe before it was written off.

Ok, so youíre all excited about your new toy and want to mess around with it.

Instead of screwing up things that were previously working perfectly fine, find ways where you can actually improve things.

Riding skills are a start. Hang out and socialise with experienced riders.

That bike is the Hyundai Excel of motorbikes. No matter what you do, itís going to be one of the most boring bikes on the road. If you want something more personalised and interactive then get another bike (eg motard).

So far all youíve done is decreased the safety of the bike (eg indicators that people canít see).

Rethink your strategy. If it doesnít improve the bike in some way (eg better tyres) then donít do it.
One owner. Only driven gently on Sundays. Sold to best offer. First to see will buy. Reward offered for safe return. Coming soon to a cinema near you. Available for a limited time only.

My waterbed broke this morning. Oh, I don't have a waterbed. Bugger.

You're actually pretty wrong there and there are quite a few gains to be made if you want them, both engine performance and handling can be vastly improved if you want.
    What's your budget?

Edit: really tho, just get some rider training and ride it often to get your skills up.
