Oh great wise members of PSB, I turn to you in a time of need.
I have a portable Genset to use when we go "off the grid" with the mobile apartment (Caravan).
it looks like this:
The Good:
The genset fires up fine. Both manually, via the key and via the remote start.
It can power any portable device from the USB and/or the 12V cigarette lighter outlet.
The Bad:
When it fires up, if you plug in an AC appliance (kettle), the unit will supply power to it, but then with or without an appliance introducing the load, the RPM will rise and the screen shows "P: O'POWER"
No power from the AC outlet at that point.
Does anyone know of a decent, reputable Genset repair establishment in Perth WA? Or failing that, Albany? (We'll be heading east for 7 weeks via Albany and the south coast)
if not, I'll leave this anchor home on this trip (depart in 20 days)
