    Exclamation Please help r class!!

Hey everyone, long story short my dad bought a custom Harley that's in his crocodile shop as display in freo but unfortunately he has found out he has cancer and it's already spread all over his body. He has given me the Harley 😁 and I need to pick it up tomorrow from the freo shop and take to my house in Maddington... I don't have my RE yet let alone R so I really need help if someone from here has there R class that would like to help me out and ride a custom Harley 😀. You will need to be comfortable riding a big bike as it's not insured in my name yet and has huge sentimental value to me. I can even pick you up from yours and drive us to Freo and follow u in car and u ride the bike to maddington and then have a coffee and can drop you home. A photo of me and the Harley are below. Thanks i would be so greatful. Hmm where can I attach a pic??

If you want to make sure you would be covered should it get damaged, I would speak to motorcyclemovers (http://motorcyclemoversperth.com.au/ They will at least have professional insurance to cover any mishap. Pete also is a top bloke, helping immensely with state road racing, he will take care of the bike.

Sorry to hear about your old man.
While no one wants to crash a bike, shit can and does happen so it's a lot of pressure to put someone under by not having it insured (if anything happened rider doing the favour would feel dreadful, who covers cost of damages etc.). As suggested a professional bike mover may be best. I wouldn't be 100% at ease with someone riding my bike if it wasn't insured, let alone one of sentimental value.
Chances of something going wrong are slim and I'm sure there's people willing to help but the lack of insurance would throw a few people off.

Just maybe poor Niko isn't thinking that clearly ...under the circumstances..obviously..

A pro bike mover would be the go...or a PSB member who is comfortable taking an hour or so out of their day to step up and give you a hand....maybe? If it were me Id' wanna see ID an Current rego etc.

    Thumbs up

Update: Thanks everyone and I have organised motorcycle movers to transport it and they are fully insured. And please excuse the fact that yes I am not thinking straight due to this sudden bullshit that the Dr overlooked. Thanks guys and gals.

Sorry to hear Niko, my dad was in a similar situation so I know what you're feeling. He was suspected to have prostate cancer but was told if confirmed it can be managed and would have a decent life expectancy... to be then told it had spread all over his body and was given a year. It took so long to diagnose because the Dr kept attributing the symptoms to his diabetes. In the end the cancer spread to his brain and he passed in October last year.

He had a Harley as well (well, 2... one is stripped to the frame still, a project never completed). I'm not a Harley guy but I'll be taking it out for a ride when I get my R's.

    Good luck to your Dad.
