Back from the dead and Dank-er than ever!!!!

    Evening everyone,

Returning member here (old ID went ker-splat) did go by the name Boogaloo. So for those who knew me *waves* and for those who don't - HI!!!!

So for anyone who feels like wasting a few precious minutes here's a random summary since my absence in 2015:

    1) Got moved from Perth to Brisbane in like.....72hours....FUG!!! Pretty much after that i had to just focus on working and keeping things going until some semblance of normalcy returned.

    2) Got myself a 2009 GS500f as a commuter because i wanted to own my bike outright, was still on my RE's when i moved and i have to say it just keeps going and going (n00bs pay attention)

    3) Just now got my Big Boy Bike License after putting it off for so long (something always came up, or shit goes down)

    4) Now looking to get my next bike.....*evil grinning intensifies*

So once again - hope you're all doing well.

Thanks mate it's been far too long.

And I decided to go all stupid for a super sports. I don't go through traffic on commuting and to be honest I want to have some weekend rides every now and then on something that actually has some fun to it.

Well I had a test ride of 6 bikes yesterday:

2010 Aprilia RSV4 R (too small for me as far as the cockpit)
    2010 Kawasaki ZX-10R (wasn't a fan of the controls)
2009 Yamaha R1 Big Bang (can't quite put my finger on what it was or if it was even the bike, but it didn't seem "predictable" and in a bad way, wasn't that much of a fun ride)
    2009 CBR1000RR (again....too small, but very responsive)
SV1000 (can't remember the year but it was like.......meh)

and I finally settled on a 2009 GSXR-1000, that thing just did exactly what I wanted, when I wanted and how I wanted....just can't seem to get away from ol' Suzi

Well once I get the new bike I'll be heading on a few trips here and there. I was hoping to get it yesterday - might be today (I say that with all the optimism I can muster) but it might not be with me until next week sadly. Real shame as we have the long weekend coming up and I was hoping to go for a ride somewhere .

    Love the Gixxers.

So how is it you considered yourself "dank", and how are you supposedly now more of that?

the '10 ZX10 has the perfect controls.... there isn't any just a good old fashion throttle & 2 levers.. can seem docile just putting around the streets.. start going over 8k and it starts sucking in all the air & small animals around you as it hits warp9

every thou is the ultimate fun to ride.. just not until 150 & beyond, cornering slowly can feel like a shopping trolley with a busted wheel... fast is like art in motion

Yes it's a personal preference on the Kawasaki, when I rode it I just didn't like it (probably really nitpicky but at that point I was just like FUUUUCK I just want this to be over.....the dealer was pissing me off trying to talk sales at every fucking stop light).
