Let's hope the new track gets the all clear to be built so bikes can finally return to a track in the metro area.

It's not limited to the racing fraternity, I can assure you of that.

If two people want to rent your backyard for a party, one is a mate and one isn't, both will give you a similar amount of money in return, who would you rent it to ?

In terms of Drifting / Ridedays WA using the facilities at the same time... This was not an issue.

MCRCWA had spoken to, and was able to run our event on the main track circuit while the drifting event was going to occur on the infield behind the V8 garages. Both organisations had established a clear communication process that was going to allow us to do that.

Why bring facts into a Barbs thread?

Because rumors such as the ones above, have been and continue to hinder the discussions between the relevant parties at the moment. I've been pointed to multiple comments both on facebook and here on PSB by the WASCC and MA /MWA which are impacting their impressions of us (motorcyclists interested in participating in days at Barbagallo) and negatively impacting the ongoing discussions to try and resolve the situation.

Yes, my apologies. I should have used the sarcasm font for the bleedin' obvious. We've been operating in a vacuum for years so why change now?

It's their track and if they and/or others want to use social media comments from bewildered people as an excuse to continue this farce, that's their call.

From a very interested observer's point of view, nothing has changed from well before the track closure. Like 15+ years.

EDIT: In fact, how about simply kill this thread and we start a new one if something new happens. That way we won't offend these sensitive petals, whoever they are.

    So it's true..

Everyone reads ,and takes for absolute truth what is said on a pissant bike forum in WA...in what is a private environment that has the ability to change political outcomes.

    I think not.

We are talking about a racetrack that was once used by motorcycles.

I fail too see how in any way shape or form some of the comments on here have,or would have been discussed behind closed doors at a higher level with little or no credence.

(All I'm saying is that some points on here are valid) FFS Boeman can build a house in less than 3 months.

No plan to action = no positive outcome.
