    Food and bike freindly joint's

    Bla bla bla.
I generally don't harp on about places that serve food.
But dam it's good here .
    Cornerstone road kalamunda.
Over the road from the oval.
    An American BBQ joint.
    Amazing yum .
    Heaps of bike parking.
All I can say is try it.
    Thank me later.

I used to like doing a midnight river run in Summer and stopping at Munchies in Freo for some extremely salty chips cooked by the stoned and/or drunk dreadlocked kitchen staff.

Lin's cuisine in Vic Park is GreenMeanie 's favourite spot for a bit of asian cuisine after a good ride. After 9 or 10 once the prossies from next door go home the parking is good. All night pizza cafe down the road is also a motorcycle-friendly hangout as you can park on the footpath and the food is fair quality for the price.
    Rest in Peace

The place is called Rob's Pit Stop BBQ. Website:
    https://robspitstopbbq.com/

I was speaking to someone who went to the opening night and apparently that didn't go too well due to numbers. I've been meaning to go to try it out. Looks like it is open lunch time on weekends... I have a free day this Saturday and the weather is meant to be ok. Anyone keen for a ride?

Holy shit, I have gone past there a million times but never once stopped. The thought of that pie alone will be enough to convince me.

Saw the articles for that place pop up the other day, keen for a visit but am pretty sure "boutique" just means expensive booze

I tried out the Gidgegannup Bakery yesterday, they were out out of the smoked pork and bourbon pies (damn it!) so I went with a steak and cheese... I will definitely be back, that was damn tasty.

Other places to mention is the Pickering Brook Sports Club. Their menu changes so you'll need to check before going but they have in the past done a Sunday roast buffet lunch for I think it was $15.

Also there is Avocado's Cafe at the bottom of Brookton Highway. Plenty of sealed bitumen car parking and good food.
    https://www.avocadosperth.com/bar-cafe

Going further out, the Beverly Country Kitchen (next to The Red Vault), are very generous with their servings, the bacon sandwich is great.

All of the above plus Rob's Pit Stop BBQ make for awesome stops if you're doing a hills ride and give you options depending on your direction and duration. Oh and of course the Bakers Hill bakery is a good stop as well.

Went up to Bindoon early on Friday arvo with the missus and stopped at the Bindoon Cafe
    Some good, some bad

Good: A nice range of tasty cheesecakes with a slice and a coffee for $7.95 wasn't too bad Plenty of parking and seating available generally, nice friendly people with reasonable service and my coffee was nice

Bad: Inside was boiling hot even for a cool day and only one table outside, my missus had a chai latte which she found very weak
Would be interesting to try a lunch there on a different day to really get an idea of the food served

Only real PITA was all the trucks on the road up there and the road works
