And the teachers just stand by because they could be reprimanded for standing in.

Aboriginal kids did this in methandurah killed adult guy over his wallet or the death at elizabeth quay......nobody burnt their houses down.

But MMA and the UFC is more popular than ever. But video games... yeah, that must be it.

Really interesting and topical is how news of the alleged sexual assault of a guy in the US by his ex girlfriend is popping up all over the place, complete with mug-shot and photos of the woman - but then the sexual assault of women is so common it just aint news-worthy anymore.

Meanwhile, closer to home, the memorial for Euridice Dixon is being defaced with obscene comments by some douche-bag who clearly felt emasculated and "guilty" due to all the attentiion to the plight of women. I wonder if he mentioned it to his mates at some point? I wonder if some of them had a chuckle over it? I mean, it's not like HE's a rapist right?

First up I find it interesting that someone can interpret "It stops with me" as an insinuation of guilt?

As for familiar people, drinking to access and being a bit wary, females quite often are wary in familiar places with familiar people because "boys will be boys".

Maybe wrong choice of words on my behalf.

As someone else wrote words to the effect of " I can't talk to these people to tell its not okay as I don't hang out with such people". I guess there isn't a whole heap, I as a male can do.

Sure, If I saw someone being harassed/assaulted/unconscious/whatever (male or female) I would help in some way but people who commit these crimes aren't remotely normal (they may appear normal) so talking to them won't help.

As they are not "normal" they justify their actions because of societies attitudes on certain things. From, she is wearing a low cut top she wants me to grab a handful to why was she walking home in the dark, she is asking for it.

An apprentice once asked what I thought of the idea that if someone was being raped but achieved orgasm was it still rape? I told him I thought that is bullshit, rape is more about power and what he would think if the victim was a close relative or friend.

If these sort of attitudes are challenged it may help. Is it not worth a try?

As for people in barrels. I am not going to use such victims to aid an internet discussion.
    Excellent tactic.

    Ignore real life cases.
    Ignore actual statistics.
    Ignore reasoned discussion.

Simply present your "dark alley" scenario to validate your opinion.

Because the victims of rape and abuse have said things in a way that hurts your feelings. And you're enraged because how dare they. So they can continue to expect what's coming to them until they go about requesting permission for change in a way that suits you.

The murdered ones didn't say anything, naturally.

I'm truly glad that you have never found yourself in a position where your choice has been taken away from you. Innocence is nice to have. Doesn't give you much in the way of perspective though. Or empathy it seems.

For quite a few years now, teenagers have had hardcore porn, violent "mock rape" degrading and impersonal at their fingertips.. Girls these days have grown up thinking anal is normal and expected of them.

Yep, this is why when my boys seem old enough to understand, they're going to get a good talk about why this stuff isn't real and is not the norm and certainly shouldn't be the expectation. People have become quite detached. It's not a nice future full of narcissists that seek instant gratification with no care of what happens to someone else.

Many years ago, took one of my girls, 6 or 7 at the time, to some young fellas birthday party. There was some snot nosed monster who thought it was hilarious to run up behind girls and literally bowl them over. Did it to mine.

I simply blasted the absolute shit out of him, I yelled and yelled directly in his face at a volume the entire street could hear, made it quite clear how effing stupid he was, that kid was shocked to his core by the time I finished bellowing at him, and then at his mum as well. Really didn't care he was 7 or so, that little monster, for the first time in his life was made aware of how wrong his actions were. Hopefully nipped bad behaviour towards anyone really, in the bud.

Other parents were grateful as well, but I was annoyed at the " its just kids being kids" attitude by some.

or he was traumatised by your yelling at him and became a mass murderer. Kidding.

I lost my cool once at HJ's. A 5 or 6 year old deliberately kicked my daughter (about 3 at the time) off the top step of their playground. I called him a so-and-so and barked until his mum turned up, she wailed that "he's just a kid!" and I called her a so and so and so and so, then I realised I was going mental at a 5 year old and a mum and got embarrassed and left. My wife banned me from supervising my daughter at playgrounds from then on because I just can't handle seeing fucktards-in-the-making and I was aware that I was getting more and more agro at them as time wore on. My brothers son spat on my daughter once when we were at a family dinner and the entire house cleared out in less than 3 minutes after that happened. That caused about a year of family awkwardness. I'm more relaxed these days...

Well, my daughter was crying, someone smashed her to the ground from out of nowhere, I think she was quite aware as to why I was angry/upset.

I guess the point I was trying to make is that the little shit simply didn't understand what he was doing was wrong, I'll assume he'd never been properly lectured/disciplined or just yelled at before. Maybe, just maybe he might have connected a few dots together the next time he thought about being an asshole, and decided not too. One [ just one ] of the reasons boys turn into fucked up young men without social skills, who insult/degrade/injure/rape/kill women.

"So, if I do this, a grownup will yell at me, mum will be crying, and will spank me, we'll have to leave the party again, no cake and lollies for me" hmmmm.

Slight sidetrack, sis-in law doesn't believe in "disciplining" kids, at all. Result, 4 x fucking monsters.....who are no longer invited to any family functions.

    Or;

If I assault others I get attention

    or

The correct way to deal with situations I am not happy with is to yell and scream aggressively at someone.

    Your method? I'm all ears.

And apply this method directly after witnessing your daughter smashed to the ground from behind by a piece of shit.

Do you approach said shit and say " well, that wasn't nice, do you want to talk about your feelings right now, like some cake maybe? "

That piece of shit needed educating, right there and then, and he got it. Otherwise it's like punishing your dog when you get home and find the couch chewed up. The dog doesn't understand why he's being yelled at or kicked.

Can't belt the kid, but he was made very aware of his error, at the moment he made it, I believe the lesson got through.

One thing I hate is "hindsight". People love to give you the "calm and rational" answer to an issue, never what their response/answer is at the moment in time when stuff actually occurs. I'm a dad. My child just got hurt. I responded as I saw fit and don't regret it for a millionth of a second.

Pavlovian theories so on so forth. Ring a bell every time the cunt pushed a kid. Soon enough he will drool and possibly even turn into a dog.

Do you know when a dog has pups..and is wornout from the birthing of a litter the bitch will eat the most aggressive pup to keep strong for the rest of the litter...?

The reason is twofold...pups are blind and struggle to find the tit for a feed of mum's milk.

That... and everyone hates a pushy cunt.

How about using the prick as a learning exercise for your kid and the prick. Be close to your kid and say within earshot, parents too something like:

That kid is bad. There are bad people in this world. Most kids are good. We play with the good kids and stay away from bad kids.

Or we could scream at the kid and its parents and escalate the shit out of a playground incident.

But this thread is about rape, no? One of my kids in Melbourne was too scared to walk down the lane to her sharehouse at night and phoned a housemate to come out. Fair call. Nothing wrong with that.
